I knew that the person who sang the song was a really creepy homophobic fundamentalist weirdo who basically joined a Christian cult, but now seeing people in the comments who are clearly just as messed up in the head talkin about how this is about that weird nonsensical form of Christianity makes me kind of sick that I ever liked this song. Seriously we're talking about the same religion and the same people who support six-year-olds getting married to forty-year-old men, the same religion that supports genocide and slavery.... I have absolutely no respect for the lead singer of flyleaf but now I just can't even enjoy their music. I wonder if they've ever actually met anyone who's been the victim of religious abuse because they wouldn't still be Christians if they had.
