Penetrating Agent (Solvent) Brand: Odorless Mineral Spirits Percentage in Formula: 10% Quantity Needed: 0.65 gallons (6.5 gallons × 0.10) Cost: Approximately $15 per gallon Total Cost: 0.65 gallons × $15 = $9.75 4. Anti-Oxidant Brand: Vitamin E Oil Percentage in Formula: 5% Quantity Needed: 0.325 gallons (6.5 gallons × 0.05) Cost: Approximately $140 per gallon Total Cost: 0.325 gallons × $140 = $45.50 5. Stabilizer (Polymer Additive) Brand: Rust-Oleum 247471 EpoxyShield Blacktop Coating Percentage in Formula: 10% Quantity Needed: 0.65 gallons (6.5 gallons × 0.10) Cost: Approximately $45 per gallon Total Cost: 0.65 gallons × $45 = $29.25 Total Cost Summary Soybean Oil: $68.25 Emulsifier (Dawn): $8.13 Penetrating Agent (Mineral Spirits): $9.75 Anti-Oxidant (Vitamin E): $45.50 Stabilizer (EpoxyShield): $29.25 Total Estimated Cost: $160.88 This total is for 6.5 gallons of concentrated formula. Instead of attending Michigan State you should have found a school with teachers smart enough to know cows should eat grass their whole life.

What sold me on the product?? NOT the label.. not the name... not even the price, But it's THE SPICE, and it's generously added!❤!❤!❤! (BBQ flavor). I'm disgusted with company's that skimp on seasonings.

While I certainly understand you wanting to point out the quality difference and referencing that you work under so many licenses and permits, it is equally disheartening because this additional regulatory burden/expense is why many US based producers have failed. It is nearly impossible for a US producer to compete with the imports on price due to the increased cost of doing business in the US. For that reason, I hate that you have to obtain/pay for so many licenses and permits. Love what you are doing and thanks for sharing!

Love to see that Canadian steel on site! P.s you know what you need? A vertical farm that doesn't worry about land shrinking, recycling the water making usage 5% of what you're using now. Plus, you harvest and plant every da y, all year so it's only full time American employment required! Keep up the good work fellas, I'm hungry! 😊

I worked on Wunsch farms for a year in the early 1980's, (1984) and it was my pleasure. That year, during the cherry harvest, I drove the roll-off that collected the cherries after the shaker shook the tree, that was a fun job. I have so many good memories from working there, and one was lunches on the farm. During harvest Wunsch farms would always deliver lunch out to the crew, where ever we were in the orchards. It gave us an opportunity to sit and relax and talk with each other without having to chase food. This helped the farm in a practical way, it kept us together rather than scattering for lunch, and that helped the farm keep a schedule, but it seemed like a nice show of respect, and helped us to become friends. That was the kind of practical leadership the Wunsch family showed. They had a positive perspective on life, and their kindness helped a lot of people. This was a wonderful family to have rubbed elbows with, and a beautiful location to have worked. Ellis Wunsch, a U of M English Professor and the farm's founder was there too. I enjoyed working with him. He shared his experience with me one day when I told him that I could barely put two words together in an English class I was taking at NMC. He said that writing was a skill that can be learned. I had trouble believing that at the time, but I listened and tried. Thank you Ellis. He also gave me a chance to drive his Mercedes, which was a thrill, since all I had was a rusty Honda. I have nothing but good memories and positive experiences from that year. Thanks to the Wunsch Family for putting up with me.

What happens when a new farming enterprise attempts to create an operation with more than 250 animal units on property that has been zoned as "Industrial" for the previous fifty years but the local ordinances do not have a provision for "Agriculture" in their "Industrial" zones as either a primary activity nor as a permitted special use? Does the MI RTFA preempt the local zoning ordinance or can the local zoning board prohibit farming activity on that property until it is rezoned?

I was fortunate enough to know and spend time with the Thelen family and their farm. The nicest, hard working and genuine people Ive met. They truly care about the cows and the way of life. The kind of people you want to be friends with. Honored to work for them even if for a couple weeks. Great experience and learned a lot. Hope they are going well.
