You said no one has ever died and come back to tell. But my faith in this world, Jesus Christ did according to the Holy Bible that also names and witness accounts. But in dreams and visions, yes I'm beginning to strongly consider we could be seeing into or even experiencing interacting with other dimensions, perhaps alternate realities of our life. I'm not prepared to go down the road of reincarnation, though I still wonder about it. The closest I can think of any biblical account that might resemble any form of reincarnation is that it's recorded after Jesus rose from the dead, when he was first encountered by some of his disciples, they didn't recognize him as (he appeared to them as a stranger), then later he revealed himself and they were shocked. But that leans more towards the power of God and even his angels' ability to control how we see them here in the physical realm rather than reincarnation. "Be careful how you entertain strangers, as many have entertained Angels unawares". The other thing is the Biblical belief based in Scripture many hold, (that God knew us before we were conceived) in the physical. But these are biblical similarities nonetheless; moving between the physical and spiritual realm taking on different appearances, not only by Jesus, but also angels, and humans being known by God before being conceived here in the physical, so I keep an open mind. But at the same time, I refuse to claim that people like that child you mentioned are just imagining things, many people have those experiences apparently. Even I in my faith what I believe in, have had dreams where I can swear must have been moments remembering some other life - yet it was me. So.... anyway. Because the environment is sometimes often strange and mixed and doesn't make sense, I've considered if everyone in those dreams we encounter is also themselves in their own dream state and we're all just ending up in these places together during these deep dreams. I'm not going to leave out people who've already passed away, as I've seen as well; countered my parents who have passed away, but just the same, siblings and friends who are alive, so could those just be formed of memories, thoughts, other alternate realities, or the spiritual world that would surround all physical realities and perhaps we occasionally drift into it? Maybe it's another way God can sometimes communicate with us as well; we receive thoughts or are guided to think about things we would otherwise ignore. At times we foresee things in the spiritual realm that will happen here in the physical. Sometimes we have dreams about things that come to pass in one way or another very similar to the feelings or events we experienced in the dreams. It's all fascinating. But for now, back to work.
