Salaam, I find hadith al Manzila so intriguing. To analyze it based on Quran ayaat like this is excellent mashAllah. I think this could be done in many metaphysical and philosophical aspects. I'm curious on how other ayaat regarding Musa a.s. and Haroon a.s. can be interpreted and analyzed. For instance, there is a portion of ayaat when Musa a.s. returns from Mt. Sinai after 40 days, back to his community. He becomes upset and incense with the transgressions the community of bani Israel have fallen into during his absence. It seems his anger extends to Haroon a.s. - who states " oh son of my mother, do no grab/hold/wrangle my head and beard, the community would not listen to me and they almost killed me. I did not want to cause division within the community". How would you interpret and analyze these ayaat in regards to their relationship in comparison to the Prophet alayhi salaam and Ali alayhi salaam?

That’s a great question. I think Sheikh Azhar may have answered some of your questions in the lecture series he gave on Prophet Musa and Bani Israel last year This one is about him interrogating Prophet Harun after the golden cow incident: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noumlGNug82saqcsi=CXrD4plQiABrN1O1

Rome continued to be Rome, practicing same policies even after becoming Christian and continuing war with Iran. They only became Christian to prevent an Iranian Christian alliance against them. After becoming Christian it became much harder for Iran to beat back Roman transgressions. Islam saved the day and the dilemma Iran was stuck in, defeating an enemy that was faking to be Christian. Rome cleverly had separated affairs of Church and State. The Bible bothe first and second are problematic, each compromised to serve other than God. And, God still not truly understood by Muslims. But, better than Jews and Christians. God Willing understanding will get better. Thanks.

The Persians do not lose Palestine, they give it back. The Persian Roman wars were continuous from previous Rome became Christian. Rome becoming Christian was fake, it was to make Iranians defenseless for the Iranians were original defenders of Christians. The fact that the king returned Jerusalem to Christians after having won it, shows the dilemma Iran was facing, a Roman enemy who had come to claim Christianity. Islam came after this, because Iranian unilateral return of Jerusalem to Christians caused royal court instability where no one could hold to power for long. The coming of Muslims resolved Iranian dilemma in regards to Jerusalem and Palestine. And, the Rome verse in the Quran is about a future event, when Rome comes back. The Renaissance and Western imperialism is exactly that. So, I think interpreting that verse of the Quran with a past event and saying it is about Persian defeat is wrong and customary.

So who he was talking about was Ishmaels children. His 12 sons and 1 daughter. Called the Ishmaelites/Quarysh. They were selfless givers. They loved without bounds. They had the strongest gift and power which was Love. They were the chosen. They had the seal and the protection of thousands of armies of angels protecting each one of the. They were called in the Bible “Wild ass of a man” because they were the wild bunch but because Allah made a command to not let them be harmed while doing his works they were heavily protected. “Ishmael” means: “God will hear” These children had Egyptian blood from their mother Hagar and Abraham was Chaldean. Issac (Israelites) was the first to get the covenant of that seal and protection but that covenant was broken once they started to turn his father’s Abrahamic teachings and making their own religion. Two being Hebrew (Israel) and Judaism (Judah) which aren’t even true religions. Once that covenant broken It was then given to the Ishmaelites. They were considered the wild ass of a man in the Bible but lived by the Original teachings.

Question here: At 46:06 you are elaborating on verse 13 of surat Fatir and you say: “Underlining the complete powerlessness of all of those things that we turn to, other than Him (Allah)” If this is your stance, explain to me please how it can be that within shi’ism ‘Ali is still called upon? Since Allah says that everyone that is called upon "من دونه" does not even possess so much as the husk of a date stone, why would someone still turn to ‘Ali?
