My ranks: Artwork - 1/10 - I do not like the art style at all. Rat finks are terrible, special anime cards are unreadable and too busy. Theme - 1/10 - Vehicles are one of the worst card types Wizards have come up with, why play a vehicle where you need to tap extra resources to take full advantage of when you can just play a creature? Also, Death Race? c'mon. Power Level - 7/10 - there are some extremely powerful cards in this set and many that will be staples.

Remember when everyone complained about how the black and white full art lands from midnight hunt & crimson vow were to hard to tell by glancing at them which land type they were? So how did wizards take that as let’s print basically and make them all bright yellow? 🤦🏻‍♂️

This set kinda does feel like an Unset. Very weird. There's still a few cards that are sweet that I will get.

Hi Matt! That Japanese foil card at 4:33 is Explosive Getaway.

I feel life the box toppers are like if you took a white boardered card and foiled it but the foiling is a goldish tone. Also I wish they would have left more of the card unfoiled, at least the main subject of the art as to make it stand out more.

Loving the rat fink art!

I'd initially set this set as a pass (massive flavor miss for me), but I don't hate it as much as I expected - there are a lot of cards that I'm actually looking forward to playing with. The art is perfect for the setting, and while I'll be putting all the ratfink-style art cards in my trade binder, there's enough else that I'll be picking up a CB.
