At high gain, SC100 sounds less noisy, fuzzy and boxy. Much clearer.

Lol, I like to run an EP Booster into the SSS to get double the gain out of it, but you're running it straight into a crunchy amp which I think it will not have so much effect that way...

It sounds identical to a tube amp except for the lack of bottom end. If you can live with that, it's perfect. People think this is new tech but it really isn't. It's going backwards to the 80s when amps like the Lead 100 were making the rounds. Nothing like good old technology making a comeback.

Ds1 first, but when it got damaged he switched to the ds2 and always used it in option 1

Great pedal. If you are using 9volts try it with 12volts. The pedal really comes alive. At 9 volts it can sound thin
