this guy also was a police explorer with LAPD but got kicked out because of his improper behavior .. my criminal justice instructor talked about this during class and these officers had all rights to shoot the guy made a threat and also made it seem like he was going to shoot that's enough for an officer to shoot .

He came few times at a Subway restaurant in Canoga Park where I used to work during night shifts. He came with his co worker kinda friend but every time he would be so weird and wacky. I made his sandwich once. His class mate also worked at the same Subway. She told me that he was a goofy kid at school. We were shocked to hear the news about his death but what do you expect when you tell 911 that you have a gun and you act all aggressive!!

We heard that his family sued LAPD for 900 million. 10 million for every bullet but I think they lost it. You know what, every family knows about their kid but sometimes they ignore it. He definitely needed a mental evaluation at a young age. He would be still alive if his family would have noticed his unusual behavior.

not saying he deserved to die ... but when we was on the phone with the operator he told them that he was armed .. and that he was going to shoot at these officers and when he got out of the car he was standing on a shooting position and if I was in those officers shoes I would shoot as well... at the end after investigation it appeared that he wasn't really armed but it was dark and the way he pointed lead those officers to shoot.
