This is why the bible says that without faith it is impossible to please God. Some will enter into faith in Christ but only to the point of salvation, which is wonderful, but limited. To be filled with the Spirit of God is a separate work, as stated in the Word when ppl were asked, “Have you received the Holy Ghost SINCE you believed?! They responded, “We haven’t even heard of the Holy Ghost!” Some denominations, preachers, teachers, explain this away or ignore it, but the infilling of the Holy Spirit with power is a separate work from God in addition to salvation, though some ppl receive both salvation and the infilling at the same time, not all do, as evidenced in the scripture. Being filled takes us into another realm of faith and strength. It doesn’t make us more saved than anyone else, but it gives the believer an enhanced set of spiritual eyes and ears. The Spirit filled believer operates on a whole new level, seeing everything through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. Very soon and even now, the infilling of the Holy Spirit will be paramount to our spiritual walk. We need the supernatural power of God to understand the multidimensional layers of the spiritual realms and of the Word of God, how to overcome the enemy, and to receive and operate in miracles which will glorify God and bring victory into the lives of believers, to operate in power and authority over the enemy, who is manifesting now much more blatantly than ever before. The veil of protection previously in place over the world has been seriously breached in the past few decades by an increased desire of mankind to reject Christ and embrace paganism, witchcraft, human trafficking and sacrifice, and endless other forms of idolatry. Believers will find living without the infilling of the Holy Spirit an extremely inconvenient, unwise way to exist in the last days. We must seek God’s infilling and the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to equip the saints, and we must not fear nor resist God’s desire to equip His people for battle because the greatest battle of all time is at hand.
