😂😂😂 OMG! People please stop! Avg people run into celebrities all the time, in stores, they drive by them in town , or on the highway, sit next to them on a plane etc… Well, I actual live in the same town as the late Recording Artist Roger Trotman, song like “I Wanna Be Your Man” “Computer Love”, “More Bounce To The Oucnce”. etc…. To his credit! Way way back when Babyface was transitioning from the “Deele” into his Solo Career! At the time I recognized him as one of the singers in the group “The Deele”. I was actually returning home from an Army Reserve Weekend, it was winter time and I wanted to get some snacks just before heading home. My house was just a couple of blocks from Roger Trotman’s recording studio! I go inside a little carry out that sits just across the street from the studio! I get in line behind a man placing his order with the cashier! As I stood there, I checked this person out! I didn’t know who he was, but I knew for a fact he was an entertainer that had already made it by the way he was dressed! A very nice winter 🥶 coat, clean pants, that fell right on top of his shoes perfectly! Oh I checked him out. I said to myself, “Whoever this is, he here visiting Trotman studios, this is a celebrity! 😂! I was in line right behind him! I got ready, 😂! I said I am going to see who this man is! OMG, when he turned around ❤❤❤😳😳😳😀😆! I lit up! But he didn’t want to be recognized! I started trying to say “Do you know who you are “. He didn’t say a word, he didn’t want his cover blown or his cool 😎 blown. He did the little hand wave gesturing to keep it down! I did, instantly! He smiled,😊 because I was a fan that recognized him, and he leaned like I have to go! Out the door and he was gone! It was only a year or two later , he went on to work with stars 🌟 like Whitney Houston, Bobby Brown and so many others. If we knew then what we know now! I always say that was fat/God/The Universe, because the entire moment was about 3 minutes! I decided at the last minute as I was driving by to go in and grab some snacks! We are talking like 30, 35, years ago maybe more. He probably never ever thought about again until I talked about it a few years ago on social media ! I’m sure he was shocked 😮 by ALL of it! That’s why I say, “That was God”. There isn’t a love story or love interest there! Just A Fan!

If Babyface wasn’t as talented a songwriter and producer as he is, people would actually pay attention to his awkwardness as a performer. His shy and awkward personality means he wasn’t born to perform on stage. Besides, he wasn’t blessed with an exceptional voice (unlike his brother Kevin). But his personality is compatible with - and even explains - his creativity as a songwriter.
