What a beautiful and heartfelt video. To see the challenges and emotions you experienced and to share them publically takes some serious guts and strength. Well done. Very very inspiring. Thank you for creating a great short film and for taking us along the journey with you.

Thanks Jenni sharing. After a traumatic event in my early 20's I started experiencing agoraphobia which lasted through the decade. Forcing myself out of the house and back on a bike at 30 miraculously pulled me out of it all, but it took most of the next decade to get things back in order. Entering my 40's now I'm just happy to still be alive and able to ride bikes far away from home. Thanks bicycle.

Not that I am comparing my abilities to Jenni. But Alba Ultra was my first ever Ultra too. I finished it and I started riding 32km loops around a old railway track in County Durham. If you think you can’t do something the Alba is a go to so you can give it a try. Highly recommended. 😀

That video is really hitting home for me. I can neither smile truely or cry of sadness, i almost don't feel. I find it hard to see meaning in all things, yet when i commit to do cyclotourism, i feel away from all of these things holding me back, i focus on going further. Thank you for sharing this with the internet, much support from France.

Wow. This is fantastic. Thank you so much. I worked in government in the climate change field for over 20 years, and was continually frustrated and depressed by the lack of strong action. We wrote excellent climate plans, but the political will wasn't there. Not just on the part of government, but the people. Our GHG emissions just kept rising. Now -- finally -- things are changing. I now work as a climate activist in a national organization, as well as locally. I do believe it's important to pressure our governments to make huge changes. We cannot ignore the political system. In my country (Canada) it's happening. Not nearly fast enough, though. I believe that we won't get there unless we have stronger and stronger people power. And the inspiring thing is, more and more people are joining the movement, and that will only increase. Keep up the amazing work because this will inspire others to rise up. Finally, I used to be news reporter, and I think it's possible to get this film shared with other networks. For example, the Knowledge Network in British Columbia. CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). PBS in the US. 🙂

This young woman is brilliant. I hope she will continue to organize, hone her skills, finish college and run for government. In some places, someone as young as 14-16 years old can hold s place on their community council. Keep going!

Amazing film. I really loved the joyful nature of the conversations and how Jessie stresses the importance of finding that personal connection and joy in the face of climate breakdown. Together we can do this!
