Has anyone ever experienced any of these eye disorders first-hand or had a family member who suffered from any? Please share your experience.

My sister had a lazy eye and had to wear a patch growing up, she eventually had surgery done to fix it.🤣

@@sarahbrumfield131 thanks for sharing Sarah… wearing a patch can be a real stigma for kiddos and an easy target for bullies. Glad your sister’s case turned out ok 👍🏼

I have no insurance and i had to go to the ER. They told me to go see my pcp in 2 days to have it removed. Well my pcp wont see without insurance and i dint have the fund to pay for it cash because of all the antibiotics i had to buy. So i think I’m gonna have to do it myself.. yikes!

This is truly unfortunate. As mentioned previously, getting in the shower to get the packing “unstuck” has been the easiest for me. As always, please seek advice from a medical professional. Best wishes 🙂

This is madness.... *Currently in the bathroom attempting to remove one from myself*

Oh my! One trick is to get the area wet, like in the shower to get it “unstuck” so to speak. But as always, if you are having trouble please seek the assistance of a medical professional.

How could please explain IBS consists of 2 types chron's disease and ulcerative collitis and you said it is chronic condition inflammation must be seen in colonoscopy, especially cobblestone like apperence in chrons disease
@profgpacАй бұрын
Hi & ty for watching! Very important to recognize that this is a case of IBS or Irritable Bowel Disease… this is different from Inflammatory Bowel Disease or IBD. While IBS does have subtypes that can be diarrhea or constipation predominant, IBD is the umbrella term for Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn’s. If you want to learn more about these diseases, please see my longer videos on the topics. Hope this helps!

So until when donyou leave the packing inside? The packing is just made of a long strip of gauze? Right? Because in my place its not readily available. Thanks
@profgpac4 ай бұрын
Yes, you can use sterile gauze strips. The length of time the packing should remain in place is really related to how large the abscess is. From an ER perspective, we usually leave the initial gauze in for 48 hours, then remove and reassess. Thanks for watching!

Everything is IBS because it’s a catch all when drs can’t figure out what’s wrong. It took 15+ years and many many specialists, finally self diagnosing to stop getting the BS IBS diagnoses. Your patients deserve better and deserve to live happy healthy lives that don’t revolve around their bowel movement.
@profgpac5 ай бұрын
I don’t know your story, but ty for sharing. It took me 36 years to finally get officially diagnosed. I am finally on a medication that has changed my life!
@colemartinez61555 ай бұрын
I’d have to guess IBS. It’s a diagnosis of exclusion and we can use the Rome IV criteria to diagnosis it!

IBS is a catch-all term for “ I do not know what is wrong with you. Just go home and carry on suffering ☹️.”
@profgpac5 ай бұрын
I agree, having IBS can be very frustrating, mostly because we don’t really fully understand the why behind it. I am also a patient with IBS. From a diagnosis standpoint, we should remember that it should be a diagnosis of exclusion.
@emc48705 ай бұрын
Exactly! I was told for 15 years it couldn’t “just be IBS” it was too severe, but test after test came back and the drs couldn’t figure it out, so ruled it “IBS” with no good solutions, I finally self diagnosed and got tests to verify, which is beyond ridiculous.
