Sifu Cris Chan. Crisp, fast movements. A little too aggressive for me. It was back in the 70s with Rick Alemany on 18th St. above Castro St. in San Francisco. Good times.

This not the authentic pak mei kung fu, the only school that practices it from the lineage of Cheung Lai Chun are from new york canal street Manhattan the sigun kwong man fong was the last direct student of Cheung Lai Chun who was taught everything from the grandmaster even the Taoism meditation techniques, is now in charge of the school Edgar wong, this is more like a hakkai style

Anyone know what was the goal of Special 36 developed by Sifu Cris? Thanks

As a practitioner of Ip Ching lineage, what strikes me is how similar the mechanics of the stystem remain despite the branches having superficially different forms. Same structure, geometry and energies. Seeing how he moves, you can tell how good his chisao would feel. Usually when a martial artist of a different style (or bad Wing Chun) tries chisao, it feels like dancing with a robot or drunk person.

looks great ... smooth and ?round?/ ?circular? What is the difference in Wan Kam Leung Wing Chun compared to others? What makes this style unique?

Beautiful. The movements don’t necessarily mean much. It’s the wing chun idea force behind it that’s most important. That’s what we strive for. Get that and you can perform any movement

I use to train their, we had Mike the lawyer, Bill who had a barbershop next door, Jack, Earnie alot of bad ass people in their. Chris had some heavy hands.

I remember Earnie, Bill, Mike The Lawyer, but who was the super big handed guy? His hands were size of peoples faces… To watch and hear him tap the steal ball bearings was fantastic site.

@karamlevi The person I think you're talking about is this guy name David. Chris gave so many students keys to the school. Dave would come in at night and sleep, but he was a bad ass.

He has a great looking chest. Broad, flat and lean chests are much more aesthetically pleasing than the overdeveloped muscle boobs of modern-day bodybuilders.

Those were great years on Market Street. No ranks, no uniforms, no BS . Pure WC. Chris would teach longer into the night. On weekends it wasn’t unusual to finish long past midnight. Thank you Chris for a lifelong gift.

Only applying this will make a person know or possible believe... and even then the comments flow “I slipped, you didn’t do anything, I’m on the floor but I don’t know why??? You didn’t knock me out, I was just jolted by something.... or my favorite ... that was unfair” Perfect music. It says it all.
