What's the point? The car is going to be a total wreck with or without the blanket. Just spray the car with water and skip the nonsense - tow to junk yard.

Because it often takes 5-10x the water to put out an EV fire. Metals like lithium burn way hotter and for longer than petroleum products. Also when they get to a tow yard, they have to isolate them because they can still light on fire again possibly.

Love Toyne. My old department we had nothing but Toyne, and I was about a 2 hour drive from there, now I'm with another department 2 hours the other direction, and can't get the uppers to look at Toyne, they want the P. Toyne has Quality, not saying others don't, I can say the P we have in the station, stuff is coming loose. Get off your buts and go tour Toyne. or buy one.

I feel safer knowing that we have first responders able to negotiate the tight twisty roads of Western Sonoma county coastal mountains. This rig will have first responders on scene quickly and safely. This is another example of the kind Chief Baxman's critical thinking.
