Recommended brush for this? Cleaner? I hit my tires with the Mother's wheel brush and car soap I'm using for the wheels already every time I wash but it's a very soft bristle, I may want something better suited for a tire. The car soap doesn't seem to get all of the anti ozonate off sometimes. I honestly think I've messed the bristles up over time by doing this and trying to scrub too hard and using too much pressure.
Also invest in a good tire and wheel cleaner like P&S Brakebuster. You Can get it on Amazon relatively cheap.

@@YettiAutoDetailing Thanks! I just used Dark Fury for the first time and it renewed my wheels after sitting for a year with brake dust all over them sitting outside. I hear brake buster is safer, but I don't plan on ever getting polished aluminum or anything without clear coat unless its powder coated which should be safe I think. I know to not let it dry on the wheels and to dilute properly. As for the brush set, does the soft brush have a rubberized head? That's what I like about the Mother's brush, I can accidentally bump into my wheels and not worry about dinging them, but the handle also kind of looks like wood. It also looks a bit large but for the faces and spokes of my wheels, it shouldn't be too big of a deal if I just go at an angle. I have an angled wool wheel brush for the spokes if that brush won't fit. What do you recommend for applicator pads for dressing? Tire and/or interior trim. Not a fan of spraying onto the tire because then I have to wipe the wheels off. I've used these from eBay but the product doesn't sink into the foam right away and is easy to spill until it saturates the yellow foam. I use carpro perl right now but looking to get superior products cover all when that runs out. They applicators below are cheap to buy in bulk and throw away but I'd like something better I can wash out with dish soap after if possible. I only do my two cars so wear and tear shouldn't be that bad. www.ebay.com/itm/194384592392

You pose some excellent questions. Dark Fury is fantastic so yes I would stick with it. As for the brush for the wheels. I have the same one and cleaned countless wheels with it never having any issues with damage. If the wheels are intricate then I use a dedicated wheel microfiber mitt or some dedicated microfiber rags. Lastly I use hexfoam applicators you can get them a dime a dozen on Amazon i like them better as they are way easier to grip. Hope this answers your question.

Try Cristal Tire Shine. Been using it now for over a year. also has great reviewsa on you tube

One thats at my Walmart thats most comparable to Cover All is Wndurance Tire Shine. It goes on just as easy and doesnt sling. I usually let it cure over night before driving and havent gotten any sling yet and its a great deep shine. And to top it off, its under $5 for a can, easily their cheapest tore shine.

You can also use an air blower if you have an air cimpressor handy. Have you tried CarPro Perl before? Similar to this it seems and dilutable.
@YettiAutoDetailing21 күн бұрын
I normally do but for this video I wanted to showcase to the DIYers who may not have an air compressor. Also PERL is a dressing and can be slippery if installed wrong. This isn't a dressing and is completely dry to the touch and non slippery.

Kurtis, thanks for the testing. Yes, heating it is a short term fix. I believe Cerakote last longer in other tests comparison? I think I saw Solution Finished added a topper?
@YettiAutoDetailingАй бұрын
Cerakote I believe if I'm not mistaken has ceramic in it. That's why I said at the end to coat over it for longer durability.
