Two things could do with a bit of advice on. One recordings out of this mixer without laptop? I’ve made the lead advised on another video to I phone voice memo but I keep getting the room recoding to. So any thoughts on recordings to phone? I’m debating going old skool and setting a tape deck up like back in the day (although that’s not the answer to me problem lol) alsoI want to change the crossfader and channel switches to something a bit thinner. The cross fader looks pretty simple, although I’ve read the ribbon is connected to it so I’ll see with that. Have you had the facia off at all? Is it pretty straight forward if so? Cheers man 👍

Hi Little help please, recently just bought the Behringer ddm4000 mixer which is a brilliant bit of kit for the price. However there is no booth output. I do a lot of live DJ facebook videos but I can't get the irig2 or rode SC4 to work for best (no background noise) sound. I have set up a rca cable straight from the master out B which is supposedly the booth output but I hear everything when recording. I also have plugged in the irig2 to the same output but the noise is really REALLY low. I have also tried the XLR cables out of the ouput A (left, Right) next to subwoofer directly to the irig2 which did have quality sound with no background noise however 2 mins into a mix it started deteriating into fuzzy melody and unbearable distorted beats! Any help on a set up would be muchly appreciated please as I'm clean out of ideas!! P.S apologies for the long message!!

No offence as I know your trying to show off what the unit can do but damn, that sounds god awful. As inId leave the club if the DJ started to use effects that sounded anything close to that. Literally “how to destroy a repack completely “ with one unit. I tried to say that as least offensive as I could sorry... but if you DJ as a job, I’d sell the Pioneer while you can still get a tidy sum for it-... Or...... Learn how to use it - as that is honestly just a pure and mess of noise, filtered and re-sampled and...well you know what I mean, you have ears too

Well, that is a concept i suppose....... I prefer on the fly, but if you are "worried about mixing", then you should do it this way. However you can't do this live, and getting used to this will prevent you from being able to perform "dangerous" mixing live..... (because you'll get nervous. i used to be unable to breathe sometimes....... ;) ) Peace!

Unfortunately these use very cheap OP amps (so I have been told) and are very noisey eg white noise through the PA system. Have tried them on other PA systems and same problem.
