Do you not realize that prophecy ended when God finalized the Bible..?? The only 'prophecy' there is today is when Godly ministers preach God's word..The Bible is the VERY word of God..verbal prophecy/inspiration is finished.

Ma’am enving, coveting, desiring spiritual gifts given to prophets and apostles won’t bring salvation at all. That’s working up to demand salvation. Those gifts were for a specific reason. The apostles were out of time to proclaim the Truth of the Messiah and they needed to spread the Word FAST before they were killed.They knew time was running out and the Word also needed to be written for the other generations. Last prophet was John the Baptists and last apostle was John the beloved and then the New Testament was born and given to us with the Old. The Bible itself ceased those offices. Why? Because is not needed anymore. The Bible is whole and sufficient. That’s why it says false prophets will arise but because they will bring their own destruction like Pharaoh did with the 10th plague.

Hi, I have comprehension problems in understanding the word. And I have been asking my pastors wife to explain the word to me. And she won't answer my request to ask a question. I have had problems asking others questions but many are busy and others I don't know if what there preaching what's right. Can you agree with me in prayer that God will send someone to teach me the word. It's very hard for me to squash in new information as I don't remember things very well. And I feel I may lose my enthusiasm to learn if I don't find someone soon. At the moment I have a passion.but fear that I will lose that.if I can't find someone.all prayers appreciated.thanks mal
