Doctor In grand rapids MI wanted to cut my sister's feet off because of dying tissues. My mom rubbed her feet like this for two days and she only lost her toes. Definitely works

This is not manual lymphatic drainage that is done far more gently as to not overwork the body and not to mention the ethics of massaging someone that is under anesthesia... They cannot consent or say if something is painful.

I'm confused. If you push the swelling up towards the ankle the foot wouldn't have any swelling anymore and be good, but where does the fluid go? Seems like it would just go right into the ankle and sit there. So either it's going to go back down to the foot or it's going to stay in the ankle in the leg where it's going to swell more. That is my thought anyways.

I can't do it to myself, though😔

I am a physiotherapist and this is one of the ways how we do lymphatic drainage. But should be done not too much pressure like that.

That’s very cool. I did feel like we were going to send a clot to travel up her body and it made me very nervous. I learned something new. Thank you.

One of my family was in that symptoms, when i touched his left feet there was like fluid in his skin. It is showed your heart has problem. You must go to the doctor and consume the pills and your feet will back to normal after 3 days

Sorry, the correct technique is to do the same pressure, but starting far above the worst area, pushing the fluid in line with drainage system. The worst area is only massaged when the tissue above has been emptied, and is able to receive fluid from below.

Given how the skin seems to be impressioning, my guess is edema. But I'm no doctor.

Edema got me pretty good too after 2 back surgeries back to back 10 days apart. Massage is intact the best plus Lasix helps you pee that fluid out.

I was taught a nursing school we don’t do that because then it floods the fluid back up to the heart, which then can cause heart malfunction. But what do I know you’re just shoving fluid back up

Note: when you fracture/break your leg your body quickly releases fluid/special cells to that area in order to protect your bone. The inflammation is part of your body disabling that body part in order for it to heal.

Fun fact, excess moisture in the body is stored in the feet. Hence why you usually have to pee when you wake up in the morning if you drank before bed. So for you gamers out there, get up and move around every hour or so, it keeps your ankles from swelling if you drink a lot. More so with water, I believe, as I've yet to finish my experiments with other liquids. Alcohol doesn't work the same way, I do know that lolz
