I have seen many review say that the mark 2 has richer blacks in photos. Have you check on that.

I just found your channel and it is very good. As an R5 I owner and a hobbyist "photocentric" photographer, I appreciate your comments at the end. For me, putting by photography budget into improved glass will have more of a positive impact on my images rather than an incrementally improved (for photos) camera body.

I wonder how the weather sealing on the r5 ii will be with those exposed vents.
@0x210220 күн бұрын
Those cooling vents run on the outside of the body - there is nothing really exposed. They help to slightly cool down the back of the camera where the rear screen is.

Nice presentation dude. How do you think this lens compares with the new Canon Hybrid 70-200 f2.8 that just came out a few weeks ago? I’m trying to justify the price of the new model ( $2.999.00 ) but I can’t. I found the model that you’re reviewing for almost $500.00 cheaper. It’s difficult to find a bad review on it. Everybody seems to ❤it. Any opinions ? Peace😊
@Jay_Fritts23 күн бұрын
Hey David! My thoughts on that honestly come down to this... If you shoot lots of video, the new 70-200mm will provide many benefits! If not, the compact capabilities make the older version far more useful for most photographers. And it's such a sharp and snappy lens that I can't imagine the new model provides that many improvements over the old in that way... then again, I've never used the new version! Personally, I would snag the older model as it is a phenomenal lens and will allow you to throw that extra cash at other necessary gear! Hope this helps :)

I just bought this lens for my Canon R6 Mark II. That control ring closest to the camera. You mentioned you have it assigned. Please tell me how to program or set that up. Is that done through the camera ? Thank you in advance.
@ElShaddai-bz3fy7 ай бұрын
you said dust and weather sealing. Does that include when it's zoomed all the way out? My only issue with the lens is that it zooms out externally which I feel like could be susceptible to dust and debris over time which could ruin a $2500 lens. Im a big fan of the EF version since it zooms internally.
