I can't be the only one who thought that the time skips in the last few episodes made the show worse. I like Pantheon's story and premise but to me it seems that the plot would have been better off concluding with Langstrom's defeat. The moment the words "20 years later" appeared on the screen the show started to lose me and it only got worse after that. In no way do the time skips at the end ruin the show but that do take away from the strength of the plot in my opinion and make the ending a lot less satisfying.

Wait a second...now this makes more sense. It wasn't David Sr or Laurie Lowell's UI that messaged Maddie in the beginning. Laurie couldn't have known the poem and David didn't know he was a UI. Maddie messaged herself and incited the incident with hacking the bully girl's phone so Maddie and her mom Ellen can learn more about Logorhythms.

They actually managed to capture the existential dread of "it's simulations all the way down." I felt the same way Maddie felt. Literally. Season 1 and most of season 2 felt like it had the strongest writing because it was a human story. Once we go to 20 years in the future, it feels wrong. You feel like Caspian. Displaced. Jumping forward thousands of years after, you don’t know anything. For me, I started thinking how this all started as a story about a girl who got bullied and her dead dad. I liked it, because it felt real. And then Maddie made the choice I wanted, her mind went to the same place I did.

To anyone who is reading this. I've got an idea. When Scratch/Todd said he'd come back for a visit I wanted to see him come back for visit to Brighton but years later with his friend Adia and when they come back Molly is having her wedding with Ollie and everyone in town is invited so Scratch/Todd and Adia attend the wedding and the Molly sees Scratch/Todd in the crowd and then sheds a tear. It's good right?

Even if we all never got another season of The Ghost and Molly McGee, this was actually quite the perfect ending to the show and even Scratch's character as well.

I watched season 1 and only I think the first episode of season 2, but then for some reason I dropped the whole show. I knew about the ending though cause it was everywhere when it happened.

I think Todd pretended not to remember anything is because he wanted Molly and the others to move on with their lives and live them, not be obsessed with him. Maybe one-day he'll tell him but for now he just wants to live.

Spoiler Alert 🚨🚨🚨🥰😝 the entire purpose of these 2 seasons was to inspire the people who enjoyed it to work harder connected with more people to ascend into Multiverse Level Gods & Goddesses !!! Literally if your “current” wife, husband, friend group, neighborhood, international community ecovillage, doesn’t have a plan to help you become a God or Goddess than they’re probably a distraction at best 🤷🏾‍♀️!? 😆🌌😇😌🫦
