Playing ghost runner feels like deadly csgo surfing

I really only have 1 complaint but this is for the game in general, i'm not a big fan of how they handle boss fights. Most of the time i feel i'm making zero progress and just waiting for the boss to finish whatever it's doing instead of letting me be the instigator

I actually liked the swords in project Hel. Also getting that last bonus upgrade in the upgrade thing is overpowerd because... And I am not sure if this was intended but you can literally cut through any sheald just by landing next to an enime!

5:15 that is why you hold down the dash button to slow time and give you a target displaying where you will land. It also shows you the arc you will take when dashing alowing you to recover after falling off a ledge.

maybe the weird speed was intended to show its in development and Hel was only a single version. I wanna say it was in the dlc on purpose like that. I definitely caught myself over jumping quite a lot

Nice review! Personally I preferred Hel’s movement/momentum mechanics to Jack’s. I’m a fairly casual player compared to some, like I make heavy use of sense boost and can’t consistently block projectiles, so having a dash that’s like a Dishonored blink in range and speed combined with the huge jump made for a more relaxed/power fantasy kind of experience. That and the shield, like you mentioned. I prefer the base game for trying to get good, but Hel is just pure fun for me. And yes I agree, give Hel the cool swords lol

Nice review I jsut finished ghostrunner, been thinking whether it's worth getting the DLC. I enjoyed ghostrunner for its setting, story and base mechanics but I didn't like that the price for almost every mistake is death, this seems worth a try.

I had similar impression when playing this DLC. I really enjoyed it, especially fast peaced gameplay. Looking forward to Ghostrunner 2 :)

I don’t think everyone forgot about overwatch. There was always a huge consistent fan base and I feel that helped keep overwatch 2 moving forward. With the new pay for loot if makes the grinders of OW1s account priceless in value

Overwatch 2 multiplayer hasn't even really been advertised as a sequel. The sequel is the pve mode releasing next year and the multiplayer was them releasing the content update for multiplayer that would have launched with the pve if they released it next year

You remind yourself that you don't balance the game around the top 1% if you want it to actually succeed. The base difficulty is already at hard compared to other action RPG's. If you had 3 chances to go up a level, the majority wouldn't be able to continue and they would stop playing the game mode. Agree with the level design, it's incredibly basic. Too open, too small. Visually looks like shit compared to the rest of the game. If it makes you think "How am I going to approach this?" then it's good design. If designed to just run at them from the left or right, then it's shit imo.

honestly the only thing i personally dont like about this mode is that its taking place in cybervoid which is imo is not the worst area in the game but also not really a good one imo it should be in dharma city just because of aesthetics alone

i like the mode even tho it has alot of flaws but we cant sleep on the fact that the mode is still FUN which is why u play a game i like the mode for practicing but i wouldve like if its kill run but without the timer but with the ability select system aka maps and arenas from the game and not just one arena when i started playing it that shone like a diamond thats the biggest flaw in it and its rlly annoying but now that the game is long gone i dont have the hope of them doing something about it sooooo yea i dont even know why im commenting here but i just wanted to say that its fun but ofc not more fun than the actual gameplay bc of the map bc in the actual there environmental things that u have to adapt different places to climb etc so in my opinion its fun but it has a rlly rllly rllllllly rlly rllly big flaw which is the map(arena)

Next time I highly recommend slowing down so that one can comprehend what is going on. Like saying a speedrun is a "guide". Literally not a single part in the video in which you "guide" viewers. You just beat the level that isn't "guiding" that's speedrunning.
