Hello a greeting from Chile I have the same problem that you show in your video. Can you write down the voltage your tps indicates when the engine is idling and throttle blade closed please? I need the voltage to compare with my tps. A hug and thank you

Cristián Loyola shit I dont get notified when someone comments and I have a different car now so i dont check, i have no idea since I have no voltmeter, but the TB was bad and leaked air

change the throttlebody, or if you want to inspect if its ok, take it off and pour water on the butterfly when closed, if water sips through its bad
@niklaskristiansen37198 жыл бұрын
okei thanks man :D it got exactly the same problem as in your video, but i unpluggen the conector to the tps sensor, and sprayed ti with. wd-40 and it idled an runed good for about 5min, do you tink the tps sensor is starting to go crazy?
@grgadgo13078 жыл бұрын
+niklas kristiansen i dont think so, better change the throttlebody, i think it leaks, they are cheap, i got one for 20$ works like a charm

I know this is an old video, but did your cars rpm occasionally bounce up and down when you put the car in neutral?
@grgadgo13078 жыл бұрын
only when I revv it it would do this excact same thing, it would take like 5-6 sec to get back to 700rpm, it was a bad throttle body.
@sheld448 жыл бұрын
+grgadgo1307 Okay thanks, mines doing the same thing even with the slightest touch of the throttle. Might take it out and clean it before I go purchase a new one just incase

I mean im thinking about going 2jz or a ls1 for my project ..im going buy a 98 sedan e36 for the daily ..for all that money i would just go those motor swaps well except the 2jz lol
@grgadgo130710 жыл бұрын
Hahah you're crazy, but the good crazy, I would do the same, but that could be a really expensive swap over here in europe, a bmw v8 swap makes more sense over here, or going m50 turbo, mine is also a sedan, I'm thinking of getting a coupe then do a swap

I like the nonvanos more, sound, less to go wrong, only the hotcams are nowhere to find, even if you find one it's expensive as hell, but that is not really a smart upgrade, too much money no big difference

Hey man very nice ride, like the wheels. Iv recently come across a 93 model E36 325i. But to change the tittle into my name I need the engine number. I have the VIN No. but no engine No. After hours of searching online and under the hood .... I still cant find it! Any help, tips, pics or detailed descriptions would be great. Thanks
@grgadgo130710 жыл бұрын
Thank you, I have no idea what kind of wheels they are, never seen them before, originally e34 wheels, i got some rings on the center hole they wouldnt fit standard e36 center holes, the vin is under the windscreen on the passenger side, beneath the wiper
@jamesle697510 жыл бұрын
grgadgo1307 so I need to remove the wipers and lift that plastic trim thingy that sits outside the cart? or do you mean I can see the number from sitting in the passenger seat and looking thru the windscreen? Lastly are all BMw e36 325i engine numbers 13 digits? Thanks for the reply, Iv literally been going mad looking for it.
@grgadgo130710 жыл бұрын
james le you can see it from outside you should be able to see it without lifting or touching anything, i guess theyre all 13 numbers pl.bmwfans.info/content/bmwfans/pages/images/vin2.jpg cant miss it
@jamesle697510 жыл бұрын
ok cheers for the reply. I will try again 2moro, from what iv gathered from other people, it sounds like its a 13 digit number. Maybe its just completely covered in filth and oil, not sure but will def try. Thanks for ur tip mate
