LOVE both songs played here. Megadeth's "Into the Lungs of Hell" and Iron Maiden's "Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter".

Quell' anno Robinho fu fenomenale, se fosse stato più concreto sotto porta avrebbe gareggiato in quell' anno per il pallone d'oro . Poi si è perso purtroppo, sia in campo che fuori 😢

It's 2024, I just saw this. I don't know if they're both still with us. If so, wonderful, if not, rest easy you amazing folks. The Metal Community loves and misses you. You will forever remain loved, honored and remembered.

Europeans tend to be more open minded than USA Americans. I feel very European trapped in an USA American body lmao. Maybe cause I was influenced by European Art and Film and music growing up -in the USA.

I just read about this moment in Hetfield's book "Messengers" and wanted to find something about it. Nice.

why did he give them a guitar? when was it?

I watched the whole documentary of this band from Iraq, they are legit! They struggle a lot just to keep their band together in a country where you can be dead any time, at that time these dudes went literally underground to be able to play heavy metal. I have massive respect for these guys! James just paid some real tribute to these guys and it makes me very proud as I am an old school metal head!!

I want to be over it by his age. Metal is getting boring in 2023.
@mr.d.572 Жыл бұрын
Metal has gotten boring. I'll always like it but branching out into other music has helped a lot. I like anything except opera, salsa, bachata, and most rap.

Leao, Osihmen, Kvara, Chiesa, Barella, Theo Hernández, Lautaro, Dybala, etc..

I mean honestly my reaction would be pretty close to the same if James Hetfield walked up to me, handed me a guitar, autographed it and said “here you go, it’s yours”. And if anyone deserves that gift, it’s these guys for sure!
@Dieafreak2 жыл бұрын
This isn’t really insane, extreme or unbearable to listen to. It’s “heavy metal” or “metal” not Extreme metal and it’s sub genres. I don’t know why especially back then the media and outlets acted like this was Extreme, insane, unbearable music… like it’s shocking. This old man was proabaly in his 30’s or 40’s when metal or “heavy metal” came out.
