Thank you! very helpful. However at 3.54 / 3.56 - the weight placement is slightly on the back leg as she the back leg. And then as the video progressed (to doing single pirouette), she correctly placed the back leg with the weight is on the front leg - which is the single pirouette is successful.

Have a comment and a question. when she does the foundu 45 degrees she does cou de pied extend through a low attitude. When she does it 90 degrees, she does it the same to the front, however, when she goes to a la seconde and derrière she does through retire( passé) then she extends. Why she does it different? I thought I’d should be the same

The 45 demo is better than the 90. The 90 should not have gone through retire. Good catch. Watch the 45 degree demo for the proper form.

Try practicing the turns to each wall of the room and then each corner. It will be a challenge. Where your foot goes is where your body will follow. Use he opposite side of the back to make the turn.

We ONLY offer adult classes. We provide space for Olga Tozyiakova who teaches the local youth but our staff focuses on only adults. We have been the leaders of the adult ballet movement since 2012.

I had heard "pull up! pull up! pull up!" for years in ballet, but not until I put a pair of pointe shoes on did I understand WHY. When you get those shoes on, you will be pulling up to beat the band because those shoes are so uncomfortable. Anything to get away from the pain. Pull up!
