At the time I had a local welding shop make that up for me. Now that I do my own welding it wouldn't take much to do that. Metal Collars can be gotten through Grainger with the allen holes already in place.

i just bought a john Deere model 49 snow thrower yesterday i put it on my john Deere 300 series tractor how do i install the belt on it
@tkelley16341
@tkelley16341 10 ай бұрын
Hopefully you can follow this: 1. On the pivot idler move it to vertical (you may have to flip the tightening mechanism). 2. Push pulley to the rear until it lines up with the PTO pulley. 3. Remove the grill. 4. Install the belt on the drive pulley and then thread it down to the large pulley on the snowblower. 5. Move the tensioner so that it tightens the belt and reinstall the grill.

Nice, I am trying to sell a 140 with a loader and I want to replace it with a little buck on my 322. Overall, I think it will work fine as I have a real loader on my 1023E, so the Little Buck will be for small jobs and used as a secondary loader, the 120R will hit the real heavy stuff.

does it raise and lower the deck as you raise and lower the bucket?
@tkelley16341
@tkelley16341 Жыл бұрын
It would when I curl the bucket but I have a lockout valve on the back ram that raises the mower deck. Usefule for anything that uses the front spool that shares that ram to include the 4 way blade.

Not sure why you don't set the position of the trimmer head and drive forward (or back) along the ditch, not try to run up and down the steep bank using hand controls. Minor adjustment of the hand controls along the way, and then reset and start another path. But you know more about what and why you are doing it this way. Think this head would be great to weed whip in and out between posts along a fence line.
@tkelley16341
@tkelley16341 Жыл бұрын
Just a function of directional stability. Going in and out it has strength but laterally very little. I would have to use much heavier components to be able to do lateral mowing. I can do it some as I've tested it but it really bends easy that way.

Now connect the two dollies so they move together, rather than independently. Avoid the forward one slipping out from underneath as happened in this video. Good progress on the fabrication and build. Look forward to seeing the new version in action soon.

Probably just put some removable arms on the furniture dolly so it stays in place when I use it for that.
