@@tylersantjer5996 I am 8 months post removal and I was in bad shape. It has taken working with a Naturopath to help. I had to have a dutch hormone test done to see what had happened. Mirena had crashed my estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Please get her this same test 🙏

OMG, I’m experiencing the same thing. I have my IUD taken out after 4 months due to increase headaches, weight loss, decreased sex drive and loss of appetite. My food cravings are all gone. I don’t even want to think about food. A week after my IUD was taken out, I experienced sudden weight loss, fatigue, exhausted, feeling hungry, anxiety and mood swings. After a month of taking my IUD out, I still feel the Mirena crash.Thank goodness I found your video. I thought I was going crazy!

Hi there, thank you for sharing. I’m considering having mine removed after a month of having it in. How long did your crash last? And did you experience any abnormal bleeding? I’ve seen quite a lot of cases from woman who have had their IUD removed.

But everything just got worse .

I am so thankful that you were so brave to post this - we are battling with it too. My daughter removed her Mirena IUD 2 months ago and she is in VERY bad shape. She is in college and calls me and cries for an hour (I want to go pick her but she wants to stay with friends)... she has not been herself since having the IUD put in over a year ago - then we learned about the side effects of the IUD and she removed it. Then we learned about the side effects of removing it - she has described exactly your symptoms. We have done all the blood tests we could think of and she is also extremely anemic so she is taking iron too. Vit D is ok because we all take 5000 IU every day due to covid (vit D is probably the only thing that helps tremendously in not getting covid even when exposed to it). Thank you for mentioning that hypothesis about the pituitary gland being over active - I will research that. I also just found out that vit B6 is good for balancing hormones (it works in the liver) so I'll send her some B vitamins. We sent her SAMe for depression - the Naturmade brand (seems to be better). I cannot believe how many girls and women I have found on the net that have this 'Mirena crash' and no doctor is researching how to help them! My daughter transformed from a highly confident, vibrant, straight As, hard working 19 yrs old to a fragile/depressed/suicidal/barely holding on to school 20 yrs old. Nobody seems to give a F*** about women's lives!!! We need to take matters into our hands - please post if you find anything that worked for you in this Mirena battle. Thank you once again!

I removed the Mirena 3 weeks ago, it has been crazy. First week I was extremelly stressed all the time, second week I got my period and I felt overall better. By the end of the second week I started to feel sad and this week I am just crying all the time. I get extremelly sad for a few minutes, then I get better, then I get sad again, then I have a good day, then I just see a minor thing and I crash again. It has been awful, I am searching for something to help my body to balance again. I also had the diziness and anxiety. I have been controlling with mindfulness and I was already on therapy before, but it's tiring. This is not normal. Thanks for sharing. I will make sure to check my blood levels and vitamins now with the doctor.
