Can you use WD40 to push them in easier putting them together It's like putting something round into a square peg, it is nearly impossible.

Tip of the day(s): Stop leaking between nut and compression fitting. After fighting with it for 3 days and buying a total of 5 Raindrip compression fittings only to have 100% of them leak, I figured out the secret. #1, don't use Teflon tape and most importantly, crank that thing down until you think it is about to break. I thought the "swivel" meant it should still be able to rotate between nut and compression sleeve. Quite the contrary. It needs to be absolutely tight between them after installed. Hope this saves someone money on Tylenol.

I used 1/2 poly tubing for my garden but I purchased ones with inline emitters spaced to far apart. Can I punch in adjustable emitters in-between them?

I went through this up to just before you said to put the tube in hot water if it was tight. Instead, I stressed out all my arm muscularity trying to get the ends into the connector. After fighting with it for half an hour, I succeeded, and then came in and watched the rest of the video. The first thing it said when I started it back up was the part that I needed to hear first because that was the reason I was looking at the video: I couldn't get the ends to go in. At least I found I was on the right track. :)

Tried this and it didn’t work.

Learned from experience: Never try to insert goof plugs or emitters in hot tubing! The main tubing must be cool to the touch so that the emitter or goof plug POPS IN, else with a hot tubing, the attempt usually fails because the tubing just bends/flattens during your insertion attempt and you will usually end up with a big leak.

i have water spraying out of the little hole on the side of the regulator. its never done this before

does it matter if they are backwords?
