Good race, good pace. Had a dozen or so laps in a GT4 for the first time this week myself but too far off the pace to race.

Some great competitive race in here! Division 4 or not, this is always a good result, finish in the top positions. Got to make time to improve my SR in ACC to enter the races at LFM, because seeing races like these, sure opens the appetite to participate. Thanks for the share, and keep it up 🙂

Not sure if it's intentional, but I noticed that the majority of the time when your throttle pedal is all the way, it's not actually registering as all the way down with in the game/UI. There were some times when it would hit the end of the UI, but most of the time it's sitting just below the max.

@@coxyindubai2929 check your last few ACC videos and you'll notice the gas doesn't hit 100% (full righthand side), it's a tad under (although does spike to 100% at times). I've checked other driver videos of ACC and I see the throttle UI hitting fully to the righthand side for them. The last little chunk goes a lighter shade of green when it is hit. I'm not familiar enough with the game to understand what that means, I'm I've only just started my sim-driver journey (like you, in my late 40s).

'maybe that's how I did it, I just didn't go off'... an approach we should all take. It worked well for Steven Bradbury in ice speed skating, who came 1st.

Nice consistent racing, especially with only 20mins of practice. I really enjoyed Imola this week , mainly as I beat Les in my 2nd race, haha

I surprised myself to be honest. I knew it reasonably well as I watched a mate racing here before I started and learned a lot. But Les beat me!

I had the same problem with the sound of the car. Once I replaced it through AC Content Manager, it resolved the issue. I suppose it's not "authentic" but at least it works.

ive just noticed the fov change.. what size screen are you using? am doing vr in ac at the min but wanna get a screen as well as its fatiguing my old man eyes plus acc doesn't like vr..dont wanna be silly with money but really want some thing where i can see the whole windscreen if its mounted behind my wheel base

great stuff mate.. you still gonna do some r35 on ac lfm? been really enjoying that series now ive got to grips with the car and some of the tracks are rather interesting. never driven shanghai before but its a really fun track. its an f1 circuit i believe

At most, you would have got a couple of track cut warnings, I also think TCR drivers are fairer and know whether you're blatantly abusing track limits or not. Mazda drivers all think they're Schumacher "win at all costs". Otherwise a good race, nice and consistent and fair racing between you all. 🙂👍

No way I can beat your time (and you had that one incident), but like I said in the video of @TheFlying-Scotsman this as inspired me to a little friendly challenge. Already installing my PS5 version of the game, so lets see how it goes. You sure have your rally skiils quite sharpened if you ask me, your enter at the turns at the right speed. So challenge accepted...and its tough time to beat yes Sir 😁

Very good run, miles better than mine. Like you, I did no practice, nor was the car set up, also car is only Stage 1 tuned coz I haven't driven it very often, I'm assuming yours was the same. DR2 is such a lot of fun, I just do whatever comes up in the dailies that I like the look of. Maybe we should do th Colin McRae challenges!!

These races can be discouraging as well as frustrating. However, I really enjoy running LFM Mazda races. I have been punted off track numerous times but I have never reported any incident because I SIM Race for fun. I started SIM Racing last October and started LFM late February. I’m 75. The Fun outweighs the Frustration. Thanks for posting your videos which I really like watching.

The MX5 series can be fun, but sometimes I hate it as well. I didn't survive T1 in the last 2 races I id and lost 170 elo because of it. But if there are clean drivers around you it can be very good racing.

I agree, if everyone takes a breath and gives each other a little room, its great racing. Unfortunately, the MX5 will not take a small nudge without going off, the TCR's are a little more stable when hit lightly.

might be worth checking the all the screws in the back of that wheel are tightened up. that sound it makes when you go over curbs sounds like the issue a few peeps have had with moza wheels and loose screws... still nice racing, gonna give acc another crack once ive sorted a screen for me rig as its a demanding lil shite in vr lol

Excellent vrace Ian. Ive not been sim racing long. Left it a bit late too (im 65 lol) but just achieved Gold License in Acc in 5 weeks of evening/weekend sessions. I look forward to your videos. I find them helpful and very entertaining. Keep em coming mate 👍

Does the launch button work in the same way as a duel clutch? I don't have a foot clutch and using the launch button does work well with an automatic clutch. I do have another f1 wheel which has a duel clutch. Would a dual clutch do the samething as the launch button? Do you even use the launch button?

Hey Zain, nope, don't use Launch, never tried too. You can't put it in gear before the lights go out anyway....or at least, I can't! Just hold the revs with boost and drop it into gear whilst flooring it as they go out.

put a deadzone on your brake. ive put like a 3% dead zone at the start of my brake so i can rest my foot on it it comfortably. you can do it in acc or the pithouse software

What a race! Very interesting from first to last minute. You got battle for positions pratically the whole race (those cuttings from Mr Hasic though...hmmmm), that sure was demanding. I was also checking your footwork in this video, you sure know how to apply the right pressure on the brakes/throttle. Thank you for the share once more, keep your content coming 👍👍

Nice Driving and Great Race way to keep it together, I was only going to check out a little bit but ended up watching the full video lol. I was actually in the split 1 of this race and had a really great race too there seems to be some really classy drivers in the GT4 Series I did post a highlight video of the race as well it was a wild last lap and just a good race overall. Im Joshua Cunin on LFM maybe we will get in the same server at some point!

Ah thanks for watching Joshua! I don't always post the whole race, but there always seemed to be something happening. I'm far more comfortable in TCR's to be honest, but decided to try and push and learn GT4's which I do really enjoy. The grid is usally quite close, but SR takes a hit almost every time! Hopefully I will get some decent ELO to meet you in Split 1!

Yeah, the astro turf doesn't slow you down either. Gosetup is good with a few tweaks.
