It's gotta be 100's of 1000's of rpm's at full throttle. So perfectly balanced. Truly an engineering marvel

It really is. I think it's so cool how much brain power and engineering that goes into these little guys. That's why I love bench testing. Just hearing spool up, then full throttle. Cant beat it.

NVM I saw the spectrum controller... I don't trust the system. I've seen too many brownouts resulting in crashes.

I think in my case, I was giving almost full up elevator while banking. I did it once before but was able to recover. I was about 50 feet higher.

@@mikeymike8054 a higher kv like that, even for the little motors has plenty of torque for a 1/10th. I would imagine the 3800kv will be good for that.

When talking about brakes, most times, we mean motor braking. Not physical brakes.

So they're called EDF units. Electric ducted fan. Think of a vacuum cleaner motor lol. Plane was $700, then you have to have your own batteries, receiver, and transmitter. Here's a video of what an edf looks like. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qV66cmuBjZp3mpY

Aww man 😔. Sorry to hear that, Will. It's tough, especially for a bird you appreciate so much. This is my 2nd mig, first one I crashed because I didn't have enough throttle in a banking left hand turn. Going with the wind, so I lost airspeed really quick and stalled it. I have a video of it on the channel.

@RCnurse I mostly drive on dirt roads and trails but yes, probably some. From what I gather it will be like a lo kernel unless it gets put under heavy stress then it can prevent breakage. I don't really know just regurgitating what I've read and seen in videos.

Is the fan on the esc suppose to go off on the scatter starting up & then only come on when the temp get hot. I’m use to fans staying on

I think there's a connection issue with the fan. Still doesn't work properly to this day😅

@@RCnurse I was just that these newer MMX 8s esc’s stays off & only comes on when esc start getting hot. This is my 2nd Mamba Monster esc. My first one didn’t need one. I wasn’t sure I thought payed for 2 defected MMX8s esc’s 😅
