“I knew when I’m there, I’m gonna fuckin’ get it the way I want it” when “there” is a stranger’s Malibu wedding and “it” is your self-funded live drum experiment

I have the exact same struggles and thoughts as him. I hate myself and I’m super self conscious and think everyone hates me or thinks I’m annoying. He vocalizes it so perfectly and accurately.

I've listened to Scott since 2010 across many different podcasts. This is the hardest I've ever heard him laugh.

Goddammit I feel like this turned Todd off of podcasting but in reality, he’s easily the funniest one in all these clips

ngl todd is usually speaking nonsense but hes totally right. James Brown played his funk songs like waaay faster in the late 70s/early 80s when the pace of what felt immediate had been upped (and so had his coke usage). Who's to say that the haunting quality of downeaster alexa wouldnt today be taken to caretakerian extremes?

He is me. We are... the very same, but ENTIRE UNIVERSES different. I'm a 36 year old woman, husband of 14 yrs, a mother to an adult child and a teenager. Eons different, but our BEAUTIFUL BRAINS, are one in the most strange same. This is exactly how fast my brain thinks, processes, jumps around, gives rhetoric to normally unexplainable experiences. I know, that my life is better for having found Drew, so many cold toes ago. Like, he was still an older teen. I was still in my late 20s/early 30s ... it was weird to click that instantly to a total stranger, but nothing has ever made me feel more comfortable with the inner worldwind (whirlwind, play on words) of my Narrative inner character, My soul. ♡
