So, Im a recovering alcoholic and before i began the steps, I heavily identified with Take Me Back To Eden. But, now that I'm moving forward and I'm changing, this song hits so hard I've been reduced to tears from relief. It truly is going from a dark place and life you're afraid to let go of, going through a transformation, and realizing you are now ready to let go and move forward. You're ready to get healthy and live life on lifes terms. To be able to say all that now and knowing a year ago I wouldn't be able to is humbling. Sleep Token is the only group whose music has touched my soul so deeply, and I'm very grateful that they have.

I know that feeling. The thoughts start to race especially when it gets dark or bad. Just find one thing....just one damn thing that you can hold onto. Sometimes it can feel like your on a sinking raft in the ocean alone. But if you find the "why" then you will be happy you held on. I wish I could just hug anyone who needs it. Having trouble separating the backing vocalists' ranges. There's a male baritone, female soprano, but there's another in between that I can't quite place... Anyone know?

the "baritone" is vessel and the "female soprano" is also vessel. the in-between, I could be wrong, but it sounds like that to me, possibly because the two opposing vocal melodies around a line create the impression. it's like an optical illusion in musical terms, i would say.

⁠@@TheUnkindledTarnishedIf you pay close enough attention at 3:22 in the original, you can hear Vessel scream underneath the main vocals. It’s very drowned out in production which is why vocal isolators can’t pick it out when trying to edit a cappellas, but it’s there. If you listen to the live versions (especially from their O2 Arena shows), it’s hard not to hear it. The only difference in the live version is that IV picks up the screams so Vessel can do the clean vocals, which honestly, I hope they let IV do more of the screaming on their next album because that man is a machine

I know this is only the vocals being isolated, but when it hits at 2:20, that sounds like a beautiful echo in a cathedral. Very haunting in a beautiful way.
