Thanks, James. Just a jam with myself in my living room. Best from Australia.

Hauntingly beautiful, Rod. Those runs send chills up my spine and make the tiny hairs on my forearms stand to attention.

Funny when that little yappy was going off and your dog just shook it off " C'mon lets chase the waves" - " nah, I'm hitched but you enjoy yourself"- 😃

A Flying-V for jazz--interesting.

Lots of blues players use them, Harsha. Just roll back on the tone control and you have tone that works with blusier jazz. I really love my Flying V.

Rod. This is amazing. So smooth. So crisp. I love it. Maybe I could ask you if you would teach my biggest boy Orlando? Weve been trying to find a teacher for almost 2 years but covid really buggered it. I love this xxx

Wow, the man that basically taught me guitar!!!! "Heavy Metal Techniques for Lead Guitar" is a masterpiece in my opinion and you should be very proud of that. Also I have Lead Guitar Licks Vol 1 which is how I found this channel via a comment you made on another video. Great to see you on KZbin and I hope you keep putting up content :)

Hi Gazz. Apologies for not replying sooner. Thanks for buying my books all those years ago and I'm pleased you got something out of them. I worked hard to make them informative and easy to read. I only play in the lounge late at night now, because I have a day career in health research. We're very busy with COVID so I haven't had much time to post in the last several months. But I will get around to posting something eventually. Really nice to meet you, Mate and thanks for the message. Talk soon. Rod.

Greetings! I once owned a photocopy of Progressive Heavy Metal Guitar Techniques. For some weird reason, I felt like looking up the "Picking Study" in that book about a month ago. Never did try the study out until now -- some 25 years later :). I hope all's well with you. You should do some of the Progressive material on your channel if it doesn't create copyright issues, of course.

There is a dark corner in my psyche, Wil. Maybe that's why I was motivated to film what I saw. Thanks for watching.
