Such a good video, I've never clicked faster. With the amount of hype around brat I feel like if you did some of the notable synths off her album it might grab a bunch of attention. Ones in particular I'm thinking of is the main synth in sympathy is a knife, and the one from 365 (around 1:19) even though they sound very similar. If you're also taking suggestions, synths that Arca and Sophie do are such a joy to listen to. Now you know, Faceshopping, Hard, Ponyboy etc would be awesome to see the nitty gritty of how they're working

@@AntonProducer Daniel Avery would be really cool! His record Drone Logic has some great acid techno, and his latest Ultra Truth has some brilliant atmospheric synths. Must have been a nightmare to mix. And Syzy just released The weight of the world, that has some mad production!

Top work. I've been trying to nail that sound for ages - I didn't realize it was this simple(ish). I used Cherry Harmonia. I couldn't get it until I played each one of the harmonics individually in Vital, and realised that when you count left to right (1,2,3,4 etc) the Harmonia should read double that (2,4,6,8 etc). Thank you - it's made my day. 👍

To get to the Osc editing section click the ✏️. Then make sure you have the right wave selected (at the bottom right it’s a purple 🔷). And for the sync. After you select sync you need to turn up the amount knob (below phase section). Let me know if this works for you

if you're looking for artist suggestions, gimmik, tho in large part because of the percussion lol. the outro to hello mr james, 2:60 and on, has a bunch of cool synth sounds, or the bass in soft drink would also be interesting to remake, or the lead in ernie & bert.

@@AntonProducer Hey man! Although they use Max Msp , their album “Sign” might be easier to approach. The tracks “Esc Desc” & “Metaz form8” are great but whatever you find easier from this album would be great. In general their alien sound design is a big challenge for our usual vst synths so whatever you manage to make would would be pure knowledge. Thanks!
