Kids were in Pre-K during 2013, but they somehow happen to be aware that Jack Johnson's "Upside Down" was from the 2006 film Curious George. Those kids were probably born in 2009 or 2010, since they were in Pre-K in 2013, which was six years after Curious George came out, so there's no way those kids could've known that.

My son was born over a decade after the movie came out, he knows the movie and this song. I would sing it to him and dance with him since before he was able to walk. He's always called it the monkey song and even knows the music video.

This song has carried me through so many happy memories, it’s surreal seeing him perform it to a little group of preschoolers, honestly he handled the whole interaction with their curious minds so wonderfully! I’m sure they’ll remember this day for the rest of their lives, such an encouraging message. Jack Johnson is one heck of a guy ❤

Well I remember in preschool, one of my classmate's fathers played the bagpipes for us in a classroom. It made kids cry and leave because it was so loud hahaha. So I bet these students have a much more positive memory!@@chewielewis4002
