I have no experience with the US Palm mags. In this case I try to get AK-103 mags. I have a lot of AC Unity clones (13-15 🫘) they work great. I keep a current production AK-103 magazine in the rifle. Yugo surplus ammo. Spicy af. Corrosive af lol. The mag in the rifle says AK on the side in small letters. Kalashnikov Concern magazine.

They banned 7N6 cause of availability. The ammo is good and back when it was dirt cheap. They ended that real quick.

Pretty sure they’re usmc frog gloves, venture surplus has em for like $15-$20 if I remember correctly

Yep. I was just responding to another comment. They used that as the excuse cause of the sheer availability. Shouldn’t have made a 5.45 pistol though is the thing. Had they not done that it would still be available to this day. Happened to another caliber before 5.45 so they knew about it.

Absolutely not. Trigger is in both my AK’s 103 and 74. Haven’t had any issues yet. Only thing I’ve even heard mentioned is the hammer cracking. Only reason I say it that way is cause I clean my rifles quite often.

If you listen closely during the live fire you can hear the Geissele SSA-E trigger reset over and over. For semiautomatic I LOVE that trigger. Talk about precision. It’s perfect for taking precise shots. If it goes my way eventually I’ll have my SOT. I would like for it to be select fire in the end. Per usual. Thanks for watching brother!

@@5900trek for the AR platform it’s the only trigger I’ll use. Semi automatic. Two stage trigger. You got about a two pound pull to the second stage. Then it’s a clean 1.2 pound candy cane like break for the second stage. So you pull through the first stage when you’re on target. Then once you have your dot or reticle in the desired location you pull through that second stage all the way back to the wall. Slow release to hear and feel the reset and repeat.

Yea I’ve heard some crazy low numbers. Wish I would have been buying it back then obviously. Is what it is for now. These days buying it loose is your best bet. That’s what I’ve always done. Get little bits at a time.

Yep. Like anything else ya get what you pay for. Personally I love the beefed up larger controls on the HK pistols. I also prefer the paddle mag release as well. I’d love to try the P30SK LEM.

Try a regular 74 mag first. PMAGS fit the ACE rifles ok. Idk about any others. Get you some Arsenal Bulgaria Circle 10 mags.

This Critical Defense runs great in the FN 5.7 MK2 pistol. I am going to order more myself in the near future. Just to put away. It has the same patented flex lock tip as the other calibers. You assumed correctly. The Hornady BLACK 40gr V-MAX prints a great five round group at 25 yards with my 5” rifle. I gotta shoot some groups with the Critical Defense soon. That was the plan previously. If the other two were successful. Which they both failed thus far.

The ammo is too long. Out of spec. Too much pressure as well. Ammo needs work still. Same w the A1. Based on what happened with these last two idk if or when I will get to 1916 Bravo. That was the plan.

I purposely kept the factory FN slide. If you want a red dot get a MRD. One the Doran Technologies slide is too thick. My personal opinion. I wanted the polishing not the red dot. I prefer the low profile fiber optic sights I’m using. They are really nice.

@@gnomereviews he’s only tested it on like gel but no watermelon, car doors, books, water jugs or anything of that sort. But I watch buffman. I would like to see other test other than just speed and gel test. Plus I don’t really care for the rifles. I Only like the FN 5.7

@@1offjay601 my plan is to get a ballistic gel torso eventually. Plates and plate carrier. I shoot the Mk57 a lot more than the MK2 pistol.

If they were 21 round mags I would have fired 21 rounds. When I load a “full magazine” I load it to capacity. If you have a round in the chamber and then try to load a full mag on top of it sometimes the mag doesn’t like to insert as well. Which is why I use the mag to capacity.

Idk if I’d go that far. Have you seen the Military Arms channel video of this stuff vs 3A Spartan armor? If not check it out. That’s why I got into it personally.

I’d only recommend this light for a super short setup. Even with a short setup I would not recommend this light. My plan is to get a Mini Scout Pro or full size Scout Pro. I already have the HRF Hunchback and Mod Button. Just need a mini scout or full size preferably.

I hear ya. I don’t disagree. 9mm wise I like HST and Hornady Critical Duty.

The core is separating only on the M855A1. Bullet is separating in flight due to where the bullet was cut down from 62gr to 40gr. Two holes for each trigger pull.

As of now only place you might find it is a gun show if you’re in the right area. Still working on this ammo specifically. Too much pressure and the bullets are a tad too long. I recommend picking up some Elite Ammunition T6B. 27gr. Personally my favorite is 27gr SS198LF. Made by FNH loaded in Belgium.

Hard to say without having the boxes still. I have the Ultra Lights with the two piece case. Assists in extraction. I prefer the Ultra Lights to ensure reliability.

I won’t say it’s crap. It’s definitely not the best. Sometimes the hollow point clogs and it turns into a fmj. I know cause it happened in my house. Went through the floor, ceiling, bounced off the wall, and into tile. Never recovered the slug.

I plan to buy the new VP9SK eventually. Maybe a P30SK as well. You seen the Langdon P30? The HK VP9SK is Mega Man underrated in my honest opinion. I’ve got three thousand rounds on mine and she keeps trucking along. Teufelshund took it apart and cleaned it for me around 2K. He’s local.

You know damn well HK is the way. I’ll take an HK over a Glock any day. The Germans know what they are doing brosef. During WW2 even. They were so far ahead of everyone else in small arms design. If you are broke af and have nothing. That’s the only way I’d recommend a Taurus. I have an old model 66 that’s blued from Brazil. Old Taurus 6” .357 magnum revolver that’s pretty nice.

I prefer Hornady BLACK 60gr V-MAX. Barnaul Silver Bear is in second place for me. After the 7n6 ban most people traded in their 5.45 rifles. I’ve been waiting almost two years for my third 5.45 rifle I had rebuilt. 1991 Wz.88 Tantal. Hoping to have it back sooner than later. I would stick to the Hornady. AAC may be a viable range option.

I didn’t have issues with the standard 9mm in the beginning. I just prefer the two piece case design. Being it was made to assist in feeding. Specifically for ejection purposes. There are a lot more loads I prefer over that round. For concealed carry daily I carry a 2018 HK VP9SK with three magazines including the one in the pistol. Pistol has 13rds of Underwood 115gr Xtreme Penetrator. One in the chamber so 14rds of it total. Also have a 15rd mag of the 50gr +P Liberty Ultra Lights. One ten round mag of 90gr+P Underwood Xtreme Defender if all else fails. That’s what I’ve carried every day since 2019. Don’t leave the house with less than 39rds. Thanks for watching!

198LF won’t beat 3A but it’s a great self defense round. Why I prefer it. Still gotta have mags loaded that will defeat 3A tho. Or you’re not really taking advantage of the caliber imo.

Kind words like yours are what motivates me to keep putting out content. One day I will get a logo. Register the brand as an LLC. Make merch etc. Those are my goals. I’ve been trying to get into armed security. Got certified got all the equipment. Everyone wants experience. Tried to get into law enforcement. I have a Tantal I’m waiting on to be painted that was rebuilt. Original barrel. If you want a nice AK-74 let me know. 1991 Wz.88 Tantal. I’ll do a segment on it once I get it back. I was also considering getting back into 5.56. 300blk. Sooner I get back to work the sooner the channel can grow better. I’m gonna shoot a full 20rd mag with the Mk57 in a few minutes off hand. I will shoot four five round groups. Then show the target. Will be with the 55gr subsonic rounds from Detroit. I’m zeroed with 27gr SS198LF at 25 yards. I know the hold with subs up close and at 25 yards so it will be interesting how I do. How the ammo does. This ammo I’m about to try out are “factory seconds”. Meaning the brass has been used twice. Each round is carefully inspected so I should be fine.

While I will happily check out your merch when you get to that stage, at this point, after seeing your shooting accuracy, I would be happy to just learn what you eat for breakfast. Looking forward to the Mk57 results, as you said, that should be interesting. I certainly encourage the 5.56/300 BLK work.

The FN 5.7 pistol I was shooting specifically for feed purposes only. I wasn’t paying attention to accuracy with the pistol at all whatsoever. That being said even with the can on not paying attention I was making all chest hits on the paper silhouette they just weren’t tight shots. Not gonna lie to ya. That Hornady made me smile brother. I will post the target with the KR-103 five round group at 25 yards. That’s what I was talking about. Did you watch that video?

Thanks for watching brosef. I have the most time into the SAIGA rifle wise. Back when that Vickers sling first came out. It was and still is the bees knees as you know. Definitely ahead of the competition. Seems like all the other slings that come out are using the minimalist approach. Who can go the thinnest and lightest. For shorties the Single Point Bungee is my go to.
