@@dannylumcreative rad!! Thanks. I’ll be following along as it comes together. I wonder what would happen if I used diecast cars… as a ball 🤪

This does slightly hurt my soul after plant taxonomy has been drilled into me 😅 I believe that hydrangeas are dicots, so their petals would be grouped in 4s and 5s instead of 3s and 4s. Edit: … sepals.
@dannylumcreativeСағат бұрын
Hmm are you 100% sure? I go on a walk everyday past hydrangea and saw some with 3. Could swore i saw 3 4 and 5
@redred7702Сағат бұрын
@@dannylumcreative I only took an intro class for botany (I specialize neuro) so I could definitely be wrong. From what I recall, Dicots and Monocots have some few exclusive characteristics which is how they are differentiated in taxonomy. Petal count is one of those traits. Monocots would come in sets of 3s, while dicots come in sets of 4s or 5s. The thing is, I’m unsure whether this count applies to sepals or not, since hydrangea petals aren’t actually petals, they’re sepals, which are more like leaves than anything.

hello, I am a bowling technician. is this design based on the a2-70 pinsetter, if so, I would recommend looking into the GSX ball door for a better system to avoid pins making their way into the ball return.

why dont you just add strings to the top of the pins so when your bowling they're loose but they tighten and lift the pins up. its kinda hard to explain, here: kzbin.info?search_query=bowling+pins+with+strings

Not sure why as these pins look great, but the pins fall too top-heavy. In real-life bowling, the pins generally get knocked down with the bottom facing away from the ball, unless the ball is going very slow. It reminds me of those video games where the CG is wrong (like Gutterball and GTA IV) and they just simply flop back.

You want to work on the pin setter independently as there a lot of moving parts
