Discipline! Such a great word! I like how Abraham Lincoln defined it - Choosing what you want most over what you want right now. So hard, but so good.

Currently re-reading The Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson. No dragons, but it's a part of the high fantasy genre that you might enjoy James. I personally love audiobooks. I find them so useful for doing menial tasks around the house, or activities that require time, but not mental stimulation. I don't know if that helps or hampers my attention span. Like most things in life you might want to mention that any habit can become detrimental if abused. Reading is great, but making it an idol in your life is not. Also I am personally against sensorship or not allowing some books to be read. However as a person you should have an understanding of what you are reading, and the possible impact that it can have on you. Reading nothing but blood, guts and gore can desentise you to an extent. The same can be said for other explicit content. Overall what a great and fun conversation. I love Tacy's judging hot takes. Also appreciated the improved audio quality. Thanks for the episode!

I enjoyed the podcast. So thanks for taking the leap to create something. I guess you could say that you are creating a habit by making this podcast 😂. I enjoyed that you showed examples of both good habits that you are trying to employ and bad habits you are trying to step away from. I personally find the content enjoyable because we are roughly the same age. We are starting to search out comfort over adventure, lasting relationships over fleeting friends, and finding purpose over killing time. So I don't blame the youth for not getting the content, because unfortunately we are becoming what we said we never would. Old. Something I would love to see improved. Tacy sounded fine, Jamie you might want to move your mic closer or depending on the mic it might have been positioned incorrectly as your audio sounded like there was a lot of reverb which means that the mic was picking up more of the reflections of your voice than your actual voice. Overall I love your production. Your set is lovely, and I cant wait to see what you come out with next.
