My husband left me because I was sexually assaulted. This song hits differently than I ever wanted it to. He’s not dead but I had to cut him off after he told all his friends I was assaulted and they all agreed that I was the cheater because I was assaulted. I never wanted to be in the right. I wanted to be wrong. All of this still. I have evidence of him cheating on me. And me being assaulted ended our relationship. I wish I wrong. Then I could still have my family. The way god intended. 😢 instead of my kids calling me in secret and me having to sneak in order to make sure their needs are met. It’s all I can do for now. Until he chooses to show up for his family the way I already chose to show up for mine. And for me.
