@@Daedalus89 also this happens on derelict. I can trouble shoot and help find an optimal way to kill him if you want? Getting him to claw you first might help.

I'd also avoid explosives if possible because they really jump forward from them.

@@Fire_trail_snail I did get him in one shot while hes inactive but overall run time is bad and when I got a good one going he noclips, haha. Might just opt for the Freezethrower instead of banking on RNG.

@@Fire_trail_snail That map is hell to run because of the DCup ride.

@@Daedalus89 I'd say deal with everyone up top first, then hit the switches then go underwater while its opening up. Also for the drone. Freezethrower might be the best bet along with some kicks. Just make sure you dont push him.

@@Daedalus89 yeah the lag spikes are unfortunate. This is actually the second run where I got 1:56 because for some reason a slimer just disappeared and my kills still went over because of the Freezethrower. The lag spikes are bad and the game just fully crashes sometimes it sucks. I wish I could turn off auto aim to be honest because not being able to shoot where you want to kind of sucks ://

@@Fire_trail_snail It's crazy they don't have a hitscan only option in that port, they really fumbled everything with it.

@@Daedalus89 yeah you can turn off auto aim on PC but not on console which is very annoying.

​@@asialsky its actually not something that can be helped unfortunately. Sometimes you just get caught there. I wasn't confused because of criticism. It just felt like a flat comment with no feedback so I was like... what? I know it can be improved. This is a very rough speedrun of a slightly different route and it only just scrapes 18. Edit: just to clarify I'm assuming you meant the rock wall about halfway through? Theres a tiny lip on the edge of the wall that sometimes catches you unfortunately. Also you'd have to get an attempt that let's you clip up to the catwalk fast enough and you need that wall to open at the end. (It doesnt always open immediately)

@@Daedalus89 yeah I have stick drift too so you can imagine the pain a controller can cause. Also this version of the game is probably the worst one unfortunately. Lags like hell.

@@Fire_trail_snail Yeah, World Tour has it's problems on PC too what with the forced mouse acceleration and smoothing. It also has an issue with inputs dropping/not registering when trying to toggle weapons or use inventory items. Definitely not as good as the original Megaton Edition they replaced it for. Not hating on the new episode either, it's great but the port is just bad.

@@Daedalus89 yeah it's terrible. Autoaim is also forced on you when you play on console which sucks because it means I have to get up close to shrink battlelords or above them. I think the port is just terribly optimised to a point where you have to wait until the lag spikes stop.

People seriously dont talk about how much this game changed the industry. The amount of things you can interact with in the environment is insane. Light switches, doors, references, etc. It's not talked about enough in my opinion.

Well the shrink clip has been around for a while but since not a lot of people run this game now, a lot of the new glitches dont get used to their full extent. We literally found a new clip for this level today which skips the yellow door entirely. Unfortunately we cant use the Dukematch exit if we skip the yellow door though.

I believe that exit is used in multiplayer. I only got it because I pressed the switch through the wall. If you continue it will take you to spin cycle.

@@Grimstroyer there is a secret exit in the original duke 3d in episode 1 level 2. If you glitch through a wall the multiplayer exit will appear and if it's done fast it can be done in like 12 seconds.

@@Grimstroyer the secret exit is right next to the normal one but there will be a teleporter that opens after you glitch through the wall that leads right to it. These are multiplayer teleporters and and the room you glitch into is a spawn room that is only used in multiplayer. The game thinks you're in multiplayer because you glitch into the room. So it opens the teleporters and the secret exit.
