Welcome to the TR community, Raider. Couple things: Peru not Nepal Tomb Raider I-III Remastered and Tomb Raider HD Collection are completely different releases. You’re playing the former not the latter. Your memory is serving you right, just piecing together moments from different games. Also, way to diss Greece, the most highly regarded level in the entire franchise 🤣😅 Fun fact, I like the game because of my memory of my mom playing it too! She still loves to watch me play today ❤️
@goobula25 күн бұрын
im happy to be part of the community! TR really is a banger. Yeah watching the video back and hearing me say Peru is making me cringe a little but I have a good reason! I recently played TR Legend and started TR anniversary. My brain defaulted to saying Peru because of legend and I messed up the shotgun placement due to anniversary as you get the shotgun after beating Larson. Also why I called it the HD collection and not Remastered. I think I played too much TR in a short period and mixed everything up. I need to play Greece again, I really didn't vibe with it the first time around.

The spin jump wasn't originally in TR1 so it's not needed anywhere, it was added in TR2. The remasters added the spin jump to TR1, it's most useful in combat for keeping enemies in front of Lara while bouncing around.

Lol, neat. Not the only one making one. Personally love the customization though, story was never a draw to me. I always just enjoyed the ability to live out the ninja fantasy in a small open world map sandbox. Cutscenes/story was always just icing on the cake to set the stage and that is all. Customization allowed me to get more attached to a character of my own design preferences and playstyle if the game supports gameplay customization also. I think that tenchu has some of my favorite preset characters though, so it does conflict me. Maybe custom characters with an option of a preset for a character that is normally used for advertisement/representing the game and people not interested in designing their own would be ideal? My inspirations are Tenchu and Naruto. Taking very specific things from each of them, but keeping a dark gritty feel to a degree that tenchu has would be ideal. I am kinda debating making my own fantasy setting that heavily borrows from japan and ninja/samurai culuture and designs instead so it is unique and fresh without a chance of making mistakes about stuff looking accurate to older japanese cultural settings. May allow more unique map design setups too. Not sure yet. Overall aesthetic would still be VERY similar to this though.
@AlbinoMothDragon13 күн бұрын
Do not abandon the character customisation, that is a massive draw that current Tenchu-likes all lack, if you abandon that, you're kinda just making way to be called a poor man's ghost of tsushima
@merccc112 күн бұрын
@@AlbinoMothDragon Hehe. Idk about for him, but customization, player builds, and overall player agency is one of my favorite things. One of the reasons I like tenchu Z more than most the others in the franchise. Actually have a good chunk of the gameplay working, but I am having to hold off on the project until i can make a certain purchase or an alternative is found. No worries about dropping it though, it will eventually become a thing, One of my dream games I absolutely must make in my lifetime.

@@josesoldevilla3092 there were issues as you would expect from a 52 character with limitless tag team combinations you can do but that game is like tekken 5 one of the most complete fighting games i´ve ever played. What is missing from tekken 7 is the quality of the content and the FUN, the game is boring and 7 is not balanced at all. Almost all the DLC Chars are OP and you have my word that tekken 7 is the wost in the series.

@@Gazzoosethe1 tho I respect your opinion and your insights Tekken almost died during Tekken tag 2 if content wise sure it's t7 but when it comes to gameplay Tag 2 literally hard to balance with different characters this why in some Evo tourneys if they whiff once a whole counter hit combo will insta death you in t7 I have to disagree with op dlc characters yes there are some really broken early on release but time and time they reduce their dmg like fahk and Leroy especially the son of a bitch akuma and Lidia they tone it down time after time to look for a fair optimal gameplay content for t7 it could've been better but the gameplay with rage art and drive is a huge + for the game creating comebacks and opportunity to win
@Gazzoosethe14 ай бұрын
@@josesoldevilla3092 tekken 7 was not even balanced. Have you played the DLC Chars? like almost all of them were broken. Tekken tag 2 sold less because it released in a period where the main trend were fps games and the game didn´t have a good marketing campaign therefore this was the result. About the balancing it is impossible to perfectly balance a game with 52 characters with endless tag Combinations. But it is a good game. Tekken 7 is a unfinished rushed piece of shit of a game
