@SneakyDeeky3552 жыл бұрын
I definitely prefer Blackout. I like the movement so much more, plus I feel like it rewards gun skill more than Warzone. The use of equipment in Blackout requires more skill than in Warzone as looting and inventory management is a skill in and of itself. Problem is everyone who still plays Blackout has gotten so much better (as a whole). Lobbies are super sweaty!

Can you tell me what did you upgrade from, did you originally have the the dyadic 040-100 now to the PRS-100mm, 150mm or 200mm and was it worth the money? Id appreciate you sharing since I am considering picking one up. If the Dyadic 040-100 is junk Id rather spend the extra up front I think. Also you mentioned you have installed the SimLab Podium Mount. I cannot see it much in your videos and would really be interested in seeing how you made that work since this is not an 8020 rig? Do you have any photos posted or maybe you could post a short video on it as I am sure others would be interested as well. Keep Posting!

Lou Wallace Hi Lou, I started in 2016 with a Thrustmaster T300 clamped to my desk, them had a stationary rig (Obutto R3volution). Next I got inverted, Fanatec club sport V3 pedals, a few months later I got the DD1 Podium wheel. In 2018, I upgraded to the ProSimu T1000 3M with PRS200 actuators with 100mm stroke. I never had the 3M with only Dyadic actuators so I can’t really comment, but I’d imagine it would be very good, as while the PRS200 actuators are faster, my preference is for subtle movements and the ProSimu software profiles are great! The Dyadic actuators are definitely not junk. That said, if you can afford the PRS200, I don’t think you’ll regret it as I didn’t. Regarding the SimLab Podium Mount brackets, I posted some pictures and video on my Instagram account, SneakyDeeky355. I’ll plan to put a little clip on KZbin. Thanks for the comments and good luck with your shopping!

@@SneakyDeeky355 Nice video, so to clarify are you saying the Dyadic actuators are better than PRS200 for subtle movements ? Also is the feeling going from the 3M to the 5M that big a leap that the much larger price is worthwhile ? I realise it is subjective of course.
@SneakyDeeky3554 жыл бұрын
OzRacing No, the PRS-200 actuators are better in every aspect, they’re just significantly more expensive. Regarding the upgrade from 3M to 5M, it’s substantial as the overall range of motion increases and the sense of acceleration is greatly improved. I love it and would definitely recommend the 5M.

Hey there fellow Prosimu buyer! I have purchased a TM 1000 3m with the 100mm SCN actuators but am thinking about upgrading to either SCN6 150mm's or PRS200's before Patrick ships everything here to Philadelphia. Which is Sunday night American time lol. What made you go with the PRS200's and which size are those that you bought?
@SneakyDeeky3555 жыл бұрын
Scott B Hi Scott, you’re gonna love it! I just took advantage of the Black Friday free shipping and upgraded my 3M to a 5M, which is why I went with the PRS-200s originally; I have the 100mm stroke length, which still feels huge. I only use it for sim racing. Their responsiveness and quiet actuations are two other reasons for them over the SCN6, but let’s be honest, they’re super expensive so it’s not an easy decision. That said, I’m extremely happy with my choice. The scn6 is about 2x as loud as the prs200s. One other issue I’ve heard from people who have the scn6 3M is that it can tip backwards if you plop down into it because the scn6 actuators weigh so much less than the prs200s. Have fun with the new toy and make sure you’ve got a tranformer ready to go for the European spec voltage if you go with the prs200s since they don’t have their own power supply like the scn6. Patrick can tell you what to get. That was one oversight on his part when he shipped me mine, but an easy fix. Happy holidays!
@scottb63195 жыл бұрын
Hey SD355!! Cant thank you enough for the reply, greatly appreciate it. Yeah, the speed and the ugradeability are def quite inviting but no the price def isnt lol. The sound, I dont think will bother me but who knows (if I stick with the scn6's) I might grow weary of the chirping birds lol. Patrick was kind enough to tell me bout the voltage adapter but thanks for making sure I was aware. Along with the tipping over, heard that other places as well. Glad to hear you only have the 100mm's as the movement on yours looks great. That is REALLY SWEET you are going to have the 5M. That thing is nothing short of incredible and even though it's a good chunk of change you get what you pay for- a high quality, durable & amazing experience. Unfortunately, I just dont think I can swing the prs200's but I am still deciding on the 100mm or150mm as I would like the option to play flight sims along with rollercoaster sims for my daughter (and I) as well. 24 hours left to decide lol. Cant thank you enough again and Happy Holidays to you and your family as well. P.S. Hope to see a video of that 5M in action!

Thanks for posting. I own a Prosimu as well. I've noticed that your motion settings appear more conservative than mine. I was just wondering if you reduce the actuator travel in simtools, or do you simply dial down the force percentages? I'm trying to get a nice, crisp response from my platform rather than a carnival ride sensation. Thanks!
@SneakyDeeky3555 жыл бұрын
SilverSigh I have not changed the actuator travel from the default settings recommended by Patrick at PROSIMU, however, I did reduce the percentages slightly for everything except the traction loss, which I increased. Hope this helps

@@silversigh4779 I just upgraded to a ProSimu 5M and while doing so, saw that my 3M settings for the iRacing profile in the Game Manager were set to only 87%. With the 5M, I felt like this was too little, so I increased to 92%, which feels perfect. I did try the 5M at 100%, and 97%, but those were both a little too crazy for me. Very difficult to be consistent and smooth when I was getting bounced around that much. 92% is still intense, but manageable. The immersion is unreal! Cheers!

Hi! Really nice racing rig - congratulations! I'm really interested in the P1000 M3 myself, but I'm still holding off because I'm not sure if the single arm wheel mount is sturdy enough for a strong and heavy DD wheel. Now - I have seen that you mounted the new Fanatec DD wheel - what's your impression - is there any bending you can feel? I would really appreciate your input!
@SneakyDeeky3555 жыл бұрын
I was concerned about that too before buying, but there was honestly no lateral, side to side bending. It did have a little movement that could be felt front to back, but very, very minor. It was not enough to upgrade, however, I found the PROSIMU wheel deck did not provide as much leg room as I’d of liked but I’m 6’1” tall and I prefer a very upright seated position. I posted several photos on my Instagram feed, sneakydeeky355, as I did end up swapping out the wheel deck for the SimLab Podium mount. It was only $100 extra. I love this rig!

@@SneakyDeeky355 Wow, what a clever and good looking combination! Did the Podium mount fit in width, or did you have to shorten the arms? Is there any flex with this setup? How's the Podium wheel?
@SneakyDeeky3555 жыл бұрын
Stefan G. The 8020 extensions are shorter as I gave Darko at SimLab custom measurements so it will work with the PROSIMU. No flex at all with this setup, but I should note that flex is harder to feel with a full motion rig and not just a seat mover as everything is literally moving. It’s hard to explain if you haven’t experienced it, but the rig gives you so much feedback and you’re no longer counting on the wheel to be your sole source of feedback. There’s a lot going on as the rig moves. The Podium wheel is amazing. Highly recommend this entire setup. Cheers!
