I've been there twice,and going back this Monday to see my brother. The ppl down there are very nice unlike most New Yorkers,and I'm a New Yorker saying this.

Banks should ALWAYS take the short sale! Why? Because when the bank lends you the money to by the house they create that money out of nothing. (ref: Modern Money Mechanics by Federal Reserve bank of Chicago) As opposed to lending you money from depositors. That's the REAL banking scam, especially when you couple this with the fact that one must pay back with interest or loose the real wealth - the property you purchased with it.
