28:52 66 Vs CO open is a 3bet all day long...
@ArtigianPoker11 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, that's not true. 66 would be a mix between all 3 options against a CO open in GTO if the opening size is 2.3x. But he made it 3x, which means that in GTO this is a pure fold. That said, exploitatively, you can of course 3bet if you know that he overfolds to 3bets or if he is fit or fold postflop.

1:41 I think its quite wrong to say that there are little worse hands that will call. Still many A high you can get value from. In this line I think betting small turn and check calling river will make most amount money.
@ArtigianPoker11 күн бұрын
Thanks. I'm not a fan of check-calling the river after betting flop and turn. With 3rd pair, I only have a bluff catcher, and I don't see a lot of bluffs in his range after he calls 2 barrels.
@sesanti29 күн бұрын
I was under the impression they only charge you rake if you win the hand, and also they dont charge you rake if you win pre flop.
@ArtigianPoker29 күн бұрын
You're correct that you don't pay rake if you win the hand preflop. But you do pay rake whether you win or lose the hand. Everyone who puts money into the pot (including the blinds if they fold preflop), will pay a portion of the rake.

Baically, just use the ones on GTO Wizard. They are commonly accepted as being the most accurate ones. Make sure to choose the lowest stakes available on the rake structure. If you pretty much follow those, you will do fine. Here's a link to GTOW. If you don't have it yet, just get a free account, and you'll be able to see all preflop charts for free: gtowizard.com/p/livepokerguide

Hey, really surprised you didn't go for a thin value river bet with A9 of hearts at 12:35. Do you not think as played B50 river is going to do better long-term for our win rate compared to checking back?
@ArtigianPoker2 ай бұрын
Thanks. Yes, I rewatched it and I agree. I even said it on stream that he most likely has a pocket pair. But my thinking was: he might only call 50% of the time with lower pocket pairs and he will sometimes turn that into a bluff and then I have to fold, while he would always call with a better Ace. However: what I didn't consider is that a reg would never flat call there preflop, which means he's a recreational. Had I computed that in the moment, I would definitely have gone for value. So yes, going B50 is definitely the way to go.

what is your win rate in nl25 zoom?
@ArtigianPoker4 ай бұрын
Honestly, I don't know. I don't play enough volume to get any meaningful win rate. Variance is so high that even 100k hands will not tell you your true win rate. And I put most of my volume in live play rather than online, so I don't know.

Where do you draw the line of "trying to find meaning of" at low stakes? 1. Snap bet/checks 2. Large Bets in general, Bet 75%to pot esp. Multiway 3. Donk Bet Pot as PFC in 3b pots OR BB donk bet potting on clearly good board for IP player. I sometimes it is really a futile exercise to range a 60% VPIP player. Playing our range seems overkill, while going for max value line with "our specific hand/combos" makes it easier.
@ArtigianPoker4 ай бұрын
Thanks! So the snap bets and checks are usually tells. It depends what the situation is because a snap check to the aggressor is very different to a snap check in position. In general, I would say snap checks remove the middle of someone's range and make the top of their range slightly less likely. Snap bets can mean a lot of things, so this one is harder. Large bets, esp in mw pots tend to mean a lot of strength. Donk bets are normally rather weak, but if they donk pot, I would treat them with a lot more respect. I would be much more inclined to fold pretty much everything except for the top of my range. I recently published a video on my other channel about exactly these sort of things. Here it is in case you're interested: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZ3FoYF6pL2BfLc
