Boston's not to hard to get from Logan to the nearest rail station but you're right it is best when you can hop on rail right at the airport. Even JFK you have to ride their AirTrain to Jamaica Station before switching to the NY Subway or hopping on the LIRR to Penn Station. I w ould like to try SEPTA someday at PHL.

SEPTA has probably the easiest and most pleasant connections to Center City on the R1 Airport Express. As you indicated, from Logan you have to take a shuttle bus to get to the rail connection and none of NY’s airports make it easy either. Definitely give septa a try next time you are in Philly. #SEPTA

In first class, would you prefer A/F (window) or B/E (aisle) seat on the 757-200? The staggered seats make me feel like the aisle passenger can look over the shoulder of the window passenger the entire flight.

Thanks so much for recording this. My dad is an avid Pearl Jam fan and I grew up with them. He’s seen them over 12 times but we finally got to see it together and it was a magical experience, the both of us signing these songs together. I’ll never forget signing Black with him. Thanks

@ it’s a great looking plane especially compared to the rest of United fleet. United is being a little selfish it’s seems they only use these in routes to ORD. They are taking delivery until 2035 so hopefully we see them on more routes

Why no monitors?

For a time, airlines were trying to remove the monitors with the idea that technology will evolve faster than the seats and nobody wants to look at the old credit card readers for the air phones for the next 30 years. Customer feedback was pretty negative on this and the newest seats now have them. Personally, I like the monitors in front if only to monitor the flight and to cast your own content.

Flying museum. United has the very first batch of 777s ever delivered including line # 1. And all are still flying. Their first 777 was delivered in july of 1994. These use the Pratt & Whitney 4070 engines. But some of their 777-200s use the GE-90-75, which are very rare. They also fly the 777-300er which uses the GE-90-115.

I went to this concert with my mom, she passed away from breast cancer in July the following year. She was so happy that night and it’s the last fun time I got to have with my mom. Thank you Pearl Jam and thank you Chelios.
