Must say, I love the multi-language aspect of all shows and rides in DLP. Without it, I wouldnt have any clue on whats going on

Also... I love seeing first reactions to DLP. It gets a bad rap for their initial financial problems, but it's arguably the most beautiful of the "castle" parks - thanks to the team which built it, just wanting to improve on the previous parks, and pouring every bit of detail and design they could into it... Things like Big Thunder being front and centre, thanks to it being built for opening day (where in the other parks, it was a later addition), and Phantom Manor having a back-story to tie into Frontierland, or the Jules Verne take on Discoveryland to try and solve the "Tomorrowland problem".

I'm no coaster expert, but some background info I have seen... this version of Indiana Jones at DLP was intended to be a temporary ride (it was scaled back to this due to budget constraints, and needing something while Space Mountain was still in the future). But unfortunately it never got replaced - probably due to the financial issues in the parks early years. I believe it is actually a Pinfari layout, but was built by Intamin. You can see on aerial maps that it sits inside a massive area of land... obviously intended for future replacement/expansion. A lot of DLP fans hope Disney will realise this park also needs investment and expansion... but right now they're pouring everything into Studios.

I'm looking forward to seeing your 1st visit reactions. I've been around 4 times with the family, we used to fly from Southampton to CDG, then get a private transfer, which was about €70 for 4. In the future I would like to get annual passes, so I'm always thinking about how I could do some cheap trips. Thanks for the video.

Still seems mad you haven't been to DLP before but we haven't been since 2019 and so there seems a lot more in studios than I recall. Hope you had a great few days, weather looked bright and crisp better than wet and cold!

We as a family went to one in Rhodes and it was scary , we were walking along this path beside a graveyard and it started to rock and the graves opened up and out came the dead, we could not get out quickly

Hi so instead of going to Marwell we go to New Forest Wildlife Park they have a lot more animals there and are working to get others there all the time.

The Na'vi River Journey as to be one of best attractions it just looks stunning , the animatronic is just amazing in how it moves and sings great footage you captured from there Adam 👍

Think you did better for animal count than we did on last visit, maybe release some land, and make the park easier to walk around with less dead space but at a tenner what a steal. The animals you videoed looked in good order, hopefully the good times will return to Marwell with some well directed investment

It is hard to see when things are meant to be renovated but it doesn’t happen or it is so slow and see a lot of this and then abuse and neglect too and I think that’s more in other countries but I find the videos interesting and it’s a good tool to learn from the proper sources and watched some last night on a page in here and they’re in other social media ( see “the 😂reptile zoo” ) and it should come up with the video outing them if you’re interested in viewing that sort of content

It was slightly better when we visited a few yeras ago but it looks even worse now. This place desperately needs some investment, closing things with no replacements

Use to go to marwell zoo quite a bit when i lived down in Dorset ❤

We used to go to Marwell all the time growing up. Since loosing its train etc - I think its definitely lost some of its magic. Anyways, we recently went to Whipsnade Zoo for the first time. It is the largest Zoo in the country apparently. & OMG - I am not one to usually get excited over a Zoo - but this Zoo was the best our family had ever been. There were so many animals and they all had very large enclosures, and looked genuinely happy. The grounds & views are spectacular too, and they have a very large, almost full-size steam train running hour long journeys throughout their 600acres. I would definitely recommend you visit if you haven't already, and its a bit of a drive but do-able.

It might not look much different but could it be the ride system needed work why it was closed for so long could of been a deeper issue that our eyes can't see

If I was there I'd probably have 1 ride on Hyperia, rush around the park to do the others that were open then head back to Hyperia

Wow you did go to Gosport. So my Grandfather served on one of Alliances sister ships the Aneas. He was a Torpedoman. Interesting to see that visitors are now allowed back in Holland 1, and I'm sure they had the original turtle. Sad to see that William Waller and his 3 white Mice have gone, although he was scary looking 😂

Sad to see the Victory is in an even worse state than I remember. I think I've Been on it once and it was so frightening I really didn't enjoy it. They must pour so much money into her. Maybe she needs a similar treatment to the Mary Rose

Warrior is one of my favourites also. Was that scaffolding I saw? She seems to have survived well despite all the many years of visitors

I remember visiting the Mary Rose when it was being treated in the 90s with my Grandfather, makes me wonder what the Submarine museum in Gosport is like now
