the purpose of Aliwan is to showcase the best of the best in every province, to unite every Filipino and to foster camaraderie. But it was never its purpose to build walls and create misunderstanding among us. Tingnan nyo mga comment nyo. This is not what ALIWAN is all about. Hala ! Karon pako kita aning dinagyang.. Now It's confirmed what they've told me... Nga murag mga buang aNg musayaw,, murag mga unggoy nga kiat kaayu.. And what's the connect of that big dragon? Inspired by Chinese New Year ? Hahahhaha and the sound is like purely Chinese New Year.. The beat of drums are so noisy and annoying... So freaking lunatic dinags.. :)

I appreciate the energy they have shown. It's great. But in comparison with Cebu's Sinulog festival, they are different. Sinulog dance have rules to follow that divide in 2 categories: the Free-Interpretation and Sinulog -based dance. Any tribe may participate in Sinulog as long as they have to comply either of the 2 categories. We in Cebu's sinulog, winning is not our main aim. The most important is we celebrate the feast with sinulog dance. And it doesn't hurt us if we lose or win. We are just happy to serve and invite people from different places to join the festival in good heart. The participants as well doesn't hurt if they lose or win, as they said, dancing to Sto. Niño is glorifying. And this is true. Many people from neighboring provinces or cities, they never count the the win or loss. The most important is happily celebrating the sinulog festival. You may ask from them. And you will hear, winning is not their aim. Secondly, sinulog beats made you dance. The decent form of festival. Costumes are in competition. The dance is synchronized with the beat and music. The choreography are in accordance with the rules. Sinulog made its colorful festival in the nation. Most of all, Sinulog festival earned the most number of visitors. Comments from the people reveals the truth but not in argument. I thank you for sharing this comment.

yeah we all know that na ang sinulog is a hall of fame. but dinagyang is alot of entertainment than sinulog. ang dinagyang every year ibat ibang concept at story line and the drum beats is getting better and better and alot of entertainment kaya mas ina-abangan talaga ang dinagyang sa aliwan most awaited festivals in manila. thats the truth may friend.

Whahaha, kuya Rodolfo subrang magkaiba naman talaga ang sinulog Sa dinagyang. Ang sinulog is parang sayaw sayaw Lang pagandahan at paramihan ng kulay while Sa dinagyang is may story line po kung saan parang isinasadula yung pamumuhay ng mga kanunu-nunuan noong unang panahon Kaya wag kayong magtaka kung ganun yung mga props, costume at kulay ng balat Sa dinagyang. Kaya yung mga nagcocomment na parang baliw yung dinagyang mag research kayo tungkol Sa mga ninuno niyo para malaman niyo kung sino ang baliw 😆😆😆😆
