how is taking notes on a lightboard different from that one of on a simple board? the only one difference i see is that the lecturer is turned face forward. all the animations and graphics can be integrated in post production with any video editing software. so, does the lightboard bring lots of educational or didactical value to the teaching, to the students?

Hey there Avnit, we found a product that works really well (www.amazon.com/Sprayway-Glass-Cleaner-6-Cans/dp/B000AP585M/ref=asc_df_B000AP585M/?tag=bingshoppinga-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid={creative}&hvpos={adposition}&hvnetw=o&hvrand={random}&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl={devicemodel}&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=&hvtargid=pla-4584207577039515&psc=1) There's a little bit of a process. My suggestion is if you are trying to erase the entire board spray a thin spray on the entire board, wipe it off with one towel, then use a separate towel to buff of the rest of it. If you are wanting to erase a specific area, but not the entire board spray the spray on one towel, wipe off that area, and then use a separate towel to buff off the excess. Hope this helps!

Hi I just found this video. It's great! Which one is better clear window glass or acrylic? I was wondering because the plexiglass is so expensive here. Thank you!
@WKUDistanceLearning
@WKUDistanceLearning 6 жыл бұрын
Hi Suta, if plexiglass is expensive there then I'd go with actual glass. We've had this for about 2 years now and the scratches on the plexiglass are starting to show up. We've tried scratch remover but it doesn't work great. The only reason we went plexiglass is due to the cost efficiency.
@MrGdsuta

@@WKUDistanceLearning Hi thanks for your response. It's bizarre here in Indonesia that acrylic is super expensive compare to glass window. Maybe because we cannot make it here. I will use glass then.
@vinnie4041
@vinnie4041 4 жыл бұрын
I had both and the low iron glass is way better option. The plexiglass scratches way too much and way too easy. You will be much happier with the glass

Have you found that the acrylic "plexiglass" sheet has become scratched or hazy over time after continuously wiping and drawing on it? If not, how have you been cleaning the ink off of your glass so as to not scratch the acrylic? Thanks so much!

Hey Lucas, figured I'd follow up with you here. We tested the scratch remover yesterday and it worked great. It took out all of the minor scratches and even made the deeper one's less noticeable. Here's the product we used (www.walmart.com/ip/Meguiar-s-Plast-X-Clear-Plastic-Cleaner-and-Polish/16550253?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=0&wl13=299&adid=22222222227010027956&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=c&wl3=40838625392&wl4=pla-78651900512&wl5=9014680&wl6=&wl7=&wl8=&wl9=pla&wl10=8175035&wl11=local&wl12=16550253&wl13=299&veh=sem) We used a microfiber cloth and product and that was it!

We can't just put words in God's mouth and say it's prophecy. These individuals cannot wholly say this is what the Spirit of God is telling them to say to other believers as prophecy. I don't believe prophecy should be diminished to where believers are prophesying to other believers whenever it's convenient. I don't believe prophesy can be taught or directed in this manner. Prophesying cannot be taught to or by others. If we can follow the wonderful example in I Samuel 3:1-10 where Eli the priest has taught the child Samuel on how to listen and obey the voice of God. The child Samuel obeyed Eli and listen for God to speak to him. Samuel was ready to listen to God once he became aware of who He is. Samuel turned out to be a great prophet or seer among his people.

How well does the green screen work in conjunction with the markers? I want to do this with a darker background image instead of a black background, so my idea was to lightboard with a greenscreen and use my darker background after keying out the green screen. This wasn't shown in your video, but I assume it's been done?
@WKUDistanceLearning

Yes that is correct about the background. For the marker, that was something we timed in post-production.

Similar to using a standard whiteboard, Best Practice is to write large & legible. Contrast is obviously something you have to watch. Your URL given verbally is fine, but what you wrote is pretty useless. Still, I have become enamoured of the lightboard and am starting to think about building one this spring. Thanks for the tips.

It is such a strange concept to think of the food label as a method of distraction rather than a method of being informed. How could the food label be improved or made more transparent?
