I remember trying to cheese this section , we snuck up behind the dragon and stacked enough smoke powder barrels that even the minimum damage from each barrel would still kill the dragon. We set it off and all it did was trigger the cut scene where the dragon flew off. HUGE disappointment to me and my buddies.
