Now this is what I want to see. At the apex of Eggman’s life, where he ends up letting go of former life and pursuing a stable and serene lifestyle, without wanting to destroy and dominate. And I feel that Starline would be a great villain for Sonic to fight against.

And then Starline builds the Hypnosis Gauntlet and uses it to make him forget about being Mr. Tinker instead of making Surge and Kit. So the Metal Virus Arc plays out a little bit differently in this universe and both it and Imposter Syndrome happen a story arc later.

I didn’t like many of the new characters reading the IDW comics but Starline was one of my favorites ( along with Whisper ) so I hope he comes back someday.
