I find my events through google search, but mainly I find them through Instagram! I follow a lot of other local artists similar to my business and I find out what events they’re doing. Usually a lot of them promote local events so it’s a little easier to find. I hope this helps!

@@hyunillusno same! Honestly I still do 😂 but I try my best to make a list so that next year I can sign up for it. Also don’t be afraid to DM or email the organizers to see if there are any available spots open! I’ve done it a couple times - a week or two before the event and they’ve let me in! 😊

I have a question related to the items which have for example Hello Kitty on them...as a small business, do you still need permission from the trademark owner to sell such items? I just saw a video of Etsy shop being closed because they used Taylor Swift related stuff in the products and I was wondering if it is the same with art... Thank you! 😊

@marianneHK Hi! I’m not an expert or anything, but there are certain brands that do have trade marks on their brand and do not allow you to recreate their characters. And there’s also some brands that allow fan art. I would definitely check the brand’s trademark before creating your art. I hope that helps!
