I’m sorry but you seem to forget that the target audience for these games is 8 year olds. This would just be too difficult for them. If you were making a difficulty hack this would be fine, but definitely not for the normal game.

Yeah I get that but, 8 year olds aren't that stupid to not be able to deal with it (ofc that's my opinion). By introducing them to "harder" challenges, they could learn from their mistakes and be able to overcome them. There have also been examples where gamefreak does things where you question them sometimes; like the regi puzzles. Not saying your point isn't valid, just my opinion. Kalos was my first game i played with my brain slightly developed aswell and loved it the nostalgia is still there for me and I hope they make this game amazing

Loving this series! I'm trying to work my way up to EK too. First I'm doing a game for each gen but if a single mon dies, it's back to gen 1. Then I'm doing base games with different rules. Then imma do the drayano hacks, RR then EK
